The Sunwoo under Shioon's leadership will never divide. They have seen first hand what kind of man Shioon is, they have seen their Elder die to protect him, and now they are about to see him stand even against the government its self. Shioon is the Sunwoo. It will never fall, nor divide, under his command.
And Sosul is, herself, not just the legitimate heir to the Sunwoo, but also Sunwoo herself, and on top of that she is personally devoted to Shioon as a man. She's in love with him. Regardless of other circumstances, and her new debts to the BFD for healing her, she will not break up the Sunwoo. She might be forced to fight Shioon in the third part, but she will not divide nor destroy the Sunwoo, nor will she actually be able to really kill Shioon. She trusts Shioon to take care of her clan, and she won't undermine the trust that she and now the rest of the Sunwoo have in him by acting against him.
I have question. Did Jang Gyul's death confirmed or just a rumor?
Because in Breaker New Waves, Sosul called Kaiser "father".
And from the available images of Jang Gyul, he does resemble Kaiser somehow...
Maybe it's just my imagination though..
This is short summary of what we know:
- The clan was weak, small, and insignificant when Kwon was a young man
- The clan peaked in strength when Sosul's father was the Gaju
- Kwon's daughter leaves after Sosul's father calls of the engagement and marries a commoner
- Ghost Hands gets his hands on Sosul, giving her a sickly body
- Martial Arts Alliance + Chundamoon attack the Sunwoo Clan and kidnap Sosul to place the unruly clan under their control
- Sosul's father dies sometime during this attack
The Sunwoo Clan plotline is one of the most important plotlines, extending back in Part I, reaching prominence in Part II, and the driving force behind Sosul when she (finally) becomes active for Part III. The probability that there is more than what meets the eye with Sosul's father (we have yet to see a clear image of him) is high.
the Sunwoo clan strength peaked in Soh's time (Sosul's grandfather)
Sunwoo Clan's strength somehow weakened after Soh's death
Sunwoo Clan become a laughing stock of murim and Jang Gyul (Sosul's father) tries to correct that and show Sunwoo Clans pride either he died or someone killed him
Sunwoo Clans Head Sosul was incarcerated by MMA behind the reason that they will cure Sosul's Nine Yin Body Type and in exchange Sunwoo Clan will be under MMA as a retainers
