True, true. He's not a horrible character, and he's worlds better than most shounen heroes. Index is a good anime, but not great. Railgun is a great anime.

If you have not seen Redline, I would highly recommend it. A complete adrenaline rush, and arguably one of the best animated anime ever made. Fate/Zero is always a good choice too. If you're looking for more drama try Tokyo Magnitude 8.0. Also an exciting show, realistic, and heart wrenching.

I will check them out. Thanks! In regards of F/Z, I suppose I should watch Fate/stay night first or?

I don't think that is entirely necessary, I never watched Stay Night. It probably helps to have played (or seen) it, but I could follow everything without. I have heard that Stay Night is not very good.

stay night had good character potential...but it was really dumbed down to reach a younger audience...

I see bob raves about zero...I should watch myself
But the stink that filled the privy gave ample evidence that the oft-repeated jape about his father was just another lie. Lord Tywin Lannister did not, in the end, shit gold

Zero was excellent. The original novels were written by Urobuchi Gen, who also wrote the screenplay for Madoka Magica, Psyho-Pass, and Suisei no Gargantia.

Wouldn't do any good, I think they'd just avoid him.

Redline is amazing Fate/Zero probably is the next series I will check out after the remake of Yamato.
How come you did not mention AnoHana though, when talking about drama? If you're reading this Nuno I would highly recommend checking it out. Kaiten probably feels the same.
Hellsing Ultimate would definitely be worth checking out too when you're looking for great action.
