    Can other humanoids have df powers?

    Why haven't we seen fishmen, giants, and others with df powers in the manga yet? We've seen inanimate objects with df powers so there should be no reason why these other humanoids wouldn't be able to have them. What's keeping Oda from introducing them? Do you think we will ever see them in op? It would be pretty epic to see a giant tornado barrel thru everyone. A little off topic, but what would happen if a fish man ate a zoan? Lol

    We have seen some different types of humans with a Devil Fruit ability:

    • Vander Decken - fishman;
    • Urouge - bilkan;
    • Scratchmen Apoo - longarm;

    Additonally, Chopper, Pierre and Pekoms are animals.

    Dude, read the manga again. And then again one time please.

    Vivi's Arc : Dog who ate the gun gun fruit

    (read the hole page)

    + as Fox666 said, there is Van der Decken, Chopper (a moose who ate the human fruit !!) and I believe there will be others.

    But yeah, we didn't see any giant among DH users (exept in the Anime). Would be nice

    Actually it was a gun who ate a Zoan Devil Fruit...

    For the sake of it, there are giants in the Corrida Colosseums like Hajrudin seeking the Mera Mera no Mi.

    You also have Monet, she's a harpy so she isn't human to begin with I gather, and she ate that logia fruit that let's her create/manipulate snow.

    She's no more a harpy than Brownbeard is a crocodiletaur (or whatever it is). Just human with animal parts, courtesy of Trafalgar Law.

    I highly doubt many fishmen are eager to eat the devil fruit since they lose their ability to swim. But we have seen plenty of non-humans with the power, many were already listed in the above posts. As for the giants, it could be for plot reasons that they don't have devil fruit.

    The reason why Oda didn't show Giants with DF in the manga probably is that a giant himself is already extremely strong even if a normal human fights him with DF powers.

    But there are non-canon giants in the anime and some videogames who ate a size-related paramecia so they can shrink and grow to any size they want.
