Saw this in Kotaku following the link which was somewhere in the forum already.
He is still the friendzoned loser...in fact this chapter makes him worse. With both the Sharingan and Rinnegan, he is no better at genjutsu and his taijutsu has still not improved...Kakashi still owned... And now he is about to be "judas iscariot" or back stabbed by Madara... All in all Naruto was right when he said "....I can see it clearly now, your suffering mug"
Really, the problem is we don't know Obito's true motive for leaving (the dimension) yet other than practicing the Uchiha Art of Run. He had to have something in mind otherwise he wouldn't have told Kakashi about 'winning the war'. Obito seemed surprised he lost control of his body though, which means that maybe he didn't just go out there for Madara's sake/revival. I wonder what else he had in mind. Other than dieing. Certainly it couldn't have been to be half-dead & becoming the jinchuurki. That has all manner of "FAIL" written all over. The thought of Rin IMO was interesting because we don't yet know if he was thinking of joining her, 'bringing her back' as some mentioned, or that he would ironically be dieing in the same way that she did - a raikiri through the chest. Meh...
I don't think he was plannign on bringing her back. That opens up a 'what's the point' scenario... And redemption's a tough pill to swallow as I remember him snapping Torune's neck like a twig among other things. I do however want to know wtf happened in the Mist village before this is all said and done.
How about it...Current Obito is now the Jin of Jyubi and has MS (EMS maybe), and Rinnegan and wood element and what else...so he is now really going to be one hell of a guy to stop!!
Are you planing on posting a new review?
