well aparantly rikudous staff isnt even one of the treasures....

but i still see him holding it every time hes with the juubi

I somehow doubt that his shakujo or katana have special properties. If I had to guess, I'd say they're mostly symbolic of the duality that the Sage represents, which is further echoed by the rivalry between his descendants, plus the fact that the six rings on the shakujo traditionally represent either the six possible forms of reincarnation (IE the "Six Paths of Pain") or the six perfections.

If the shakujo did have a special property, it would probably be to ward off, frighten, or otherwise stun "monsters" by jingling the rings.

Of course, in Buddhism, the six rings on the shakujo

Not a bad hypothesis. Especially considering all the weapons lying around in the Madara vs. Hashirama flashbacks and the weapons in his cavern. But the staff has long been an area of interest to me. Because it is common in another manga and had very significant meaning....

I wouldn't look too into that. Kishimoto could make it one, make it a 'lost' one, etc. But I think it's too important of an item for us to NOT know about it. It well could be a treasure that somehow 'surprises' the characters. Admittedly, it's not as though this hasn't happened before. Anyways, will leave your images below for comparison. I know they are different, but Samurai Troopers was the very first thing I thought of when I saw the staff.

Unless Tobi is totally subjugated by the incomplete juubi rampaging within his psyche. He doesn't seem to have any lights on atm, so Oro might have a free shot at his body. There's no precedent for Fushi Tensei on a jinchuuriki, but I'm willing to be that personality supplanting (like Shukaku/Kurama/apparently juubi) helps out the invader more than anything else.

"While many can pursue their dreams in solitude, other dreams are like great storms blowing hundreds, even thousands of dreams apart in their wake. Dreams breathe life into men and can cage them in suffering. Men live and die by their dreams. But long after they have been abandoned they still smolder deep in men's hearts. Some see nothing more than life and death. They are dead, for they have no dreams."

    I'm just saying...

Bashōsen (芭蕉扇; Literally meaning "Banana Palm Fan")
Benihisago (紅葫蘆; Literally meaning "Crimson Gourd")
Kohaku no Jōhei (琥珀の浄瓶; Literally meaning "Amber Purifying Pot")
Kōkinjō (幌金縄; Literally meaning "Golden Canopy Rope")
Shichiseiken (七星剣; Literally meaning "Seven Star Sword")

On top of a bunch of other stuff that had magical properties, he had a sword that did as well. It isn't far fetched in any way to assume the weapons he held while taking on the juubi did indeed most likely have magical properties. Especially that with one hand a staff with no magical properties would not be very useful. Even Madaras fan has magical properties in how it reflects
