Remember in Part I? Where all Orochimaru did was look at Sasuke and Sakura and made them feel death?
- Juubito is suppose to be the strongest monster in this damn series. Shouldn't be able to just scare is enemies into submission before killing them or something. Whatever happened to "Killing intent", it was prominent in Part I...where the hell did Kishi go with it.
Susano, Kyuubi and city busters got in the way...
Not on am ore serious note that worked on genin and stuff like that. You actually think Orochimaru could scare Madara the way he did to Sakura and Sasuke? Come on.. Even Sasuke got his mind in the game once he figured out that hole vengeance thing.
Wasn't that a genjutsu?
Orochimaru just about incapacitated Sasuke. Kakashi was just somewhat scared but he stood his ground and was ready to fight... He was asking himself after it if he was sane but its not the same thing.
Who are supposed to be scared by Juubito?
Yes, originally that killing intent was supposed to be an aura of dominance implied to even be able to kill you, zabuza used it as well against Gato if I recall, kabuto used it against those rain ninja, and anko may have used it against naruto as well, but now like a lot of things early on it has been reconnected to just being a genjutsu that makes the victim believe they are experiencing the moment of their death. Kishimoto sacrifices continuity in order to preserve quality wherever the two conflict, and this is one example.

It was never implied to be able to kill you, at least not that I remember.
Killing intent is exactly what it describes, one's intent to kill by flexing one's chakra and "aura". Stronger shinobi use it over weaker shinobi as a way of showing them they are beneath them, this is what Orochimaru did to Kakashi, he made Kakashi fear for his life.
This "technique" is as much about the quality of atmosphere and "aura" one gives off as it is about psychological effects one's appearance and words have on another.
And this hasn't at all seeing as how Hashirama used it on Tobirama recently when they were brought back with Edo Tensei.
Kage level opponents does not fear other kage level opponents.
The last time killer intent was a factor in the manga was when Sasuke scared Suigestu and Juugo.
Killing intent isn't necessarily about power, but about the person. Orochimaru's evil, twisted personality and look gave off that killing intent. Someone like Hashirama and Naruto can't pull it off because they're in no way negative like Tobirama and Sasuke are. They can certainly scare people with power, but not show off killing intent.
Explain to me what this was lol? Hashirama's Killing Intent was so great he cracked the building they were standing in.
And there is no doubt this wasn't him just flexing chakra given Suigetsu reaction here talking about "presence".

Is that really killing intent or is it just Hashirama showing off his power? None of them had the fear of being killed by Hashirama like Sasuke and Kakashi did against Orochimaru.
