    Fall Anime 2013 Preview Guide

Here's the release of the first Fall chart:

    Spoiler: Anime Chart show

    Spoiler: TV Anime Info show

    Spoiler: OVA's and Specials show

Magi and Valvrave are an obvious watch, even though both were underwhelming in their own ways Besides that Kill La Kill, Yowamushi Pedal, KnB S2 and Daiya no Ace are a sure watch. Looks like it could be a great season for sports anime~

    updated chart added, 8/19/03 /Kaiten

    Still early but...
    1. Galilei Donna
    2. Samurai Flamenco
    3. VVV2
    4. Kill La Kill
    5. Yozakura Quartet
    6. Outbreak Company
    7. Nagi no Asukara
    8. Coppelion
    9. Golden Time
    10. Arpeggio
    11. Diamond Ace
    12. Strike Blood
Once more info is available I might add Toaru Hikuushi, Ore no Nounai, Pupa, and Kikou Shoujo. I am obviously most excited about Kill La Kill. I'm a big PA Works fan, so I am also looking forward to Nagi no Asukara. Both of the Noitamina anime look good too.

Nagi no Asukara was written by Okada Mari, who also wrote AnoHana. Even more reason to look for to it.

It is from the writer and director of Gurren Lagann. That is all that matters.

Re: Fall Anime 2013 Preview Guide

    First impressions:

Galileo Donna: Sounds interesting though it´s hard to imagine what it´s about. I hope for a modern version of Cat´s Eye

Samurai Flamenco: Just as hard to figure out as Galileo. I guess it could be everything from a hero series to a boys love anime. If it´s the former, maybe even a more serious version of Tiger and Bunny, i am interested.

Magi 2nd season: The early exploration chapters of Magnostadt, including Alladin´s time as student, are among my favorite parts of Magi, so i am gonna try to forget the fiasco of the first season.

Kill la Kill: No explanation needed

Coppelion: Manga is not bad, so i am probably gonna try this one

Golden Time: A college romance series is always welcome, i just hope that the female protagonist is not an older version of Taiga, the latter was annoying to say the least

Love Song of a Certain Pilot : I watched the movie adaption of the spin-off which was impressive, so gonna try this one as well

Pupa: Unfortunately, the manga has not been scanlated at all, so i have no idea if this is good. It definitely sounds interesting but i heard the manga is very gory

    Movies:

Kaguya-hime no Monogatari (Ghibli is a must)
    Captain Harlock
    Chuunibyou
    Madoka
    GitS
    Sakasama no Patema
and of course the highlight, Kara no Kyoukai: Mirai Fukuin

As interesting as Pupa sounds, seeing that Studio Deen is taking care of it puts me off =/ I have yet to watch or even hear about an actually good work from their side. Everyone tells me they failed hard with Fate/Stay Night and from my experience their adaption of Nurarihyon no Mago was outright horrible too. I guess I will take a look what people say after watching the show but I'm very sceptic.

Well, they did the Kenshin OVA which was very good and the Jigoku Shoujo series but yeah, other than that, there is nothing and Fate was really bad.

Generally speaking, I think Deen is mediocre. They have made some nice anime over the years (Jigoku Shoujo, Kenshin, Higurashi), but also have made a lot of really bad shows. I would not watch a show specifically because Deen produced, but I would not skip a show because of them either. I'd need to see a PV or two before deciding if I want to watch Pupa. The jury is still out on the new Rozen Maiden.

Re: Fall Anime 2013 Preview Guide

    For Sure:
    -Valvrave S2
    -KnB
    -Samurai Flamenco
    -Galileo Donna
    -Kill la Kill
-Knights of Sidonia (it wasn't on the list I think, but I'm pretty sure they said fall 2013)

    Maybes:
    -Golden Time
    -Yozakura Quartet
    -Coppelion
    -Strike the Blood
    -Yowamushi Pedal

I always end up at least trying the first couple episodes of the maybes, so this season is going to be pretty good.
