This is Gamindustri. Beings called the Goddesses rule the countries of this unreal world. The four Goddesses govern four states: Planeptune, Lastation, Lowee, and Leanbox. For many long years, these countries fought each other over the Shares, the source of the Goddess power.
However, fearful that the conflict would pointlessly erode their countries' strength, the Goddesses signed a Friendship Treaty forbidding them from taking Shares by force.
Under the treaty, the Goddesses and their younger sisters took a step forward to a new stage in their relations. It was the dawn of a new, dynamic era marked occasionally by shared laughter, disputes as well cooperation.
What does the future hold in store for Gamindustri?
So there are other people here who watch it too...
Well nothing much to say... Lot's of girls... A lot of gaming industry references... But no plot so far...
The game was pretty mediocre at best so i wonder how the Anime will turn out.
So why is there a Super Mario theme park in the country of Microsoft/PC?
That pedo turtle... "Shoujo Banzaaaaaaaai"... Oh god... XD
All in all still no plot except from the end but... well as Kisama said. Who needs a plot if you have such cute girls doing stuff?
The after credit scene was priceless... "Oh wrong room"
Oh good... Actual plot appeared!
First things first... Blancs pose after beating the enemy... That ass...
Aaaaaaaaanyway... the only male in this world is a rat/mouse... How sad...
Let's see how they will escape or win...
PS: Vert using Kinnect... Blatant marketing indeed... XD
I'm still a bit confused... Blanc is the PC world, Vert is Xbox and Noire is the Play Station. Shouldn't Neptune be Nintendo itself?
It's time for the sisters to shine!Quote:
I love how they mocked Zune.Quote:
Neptune/Purple Heart = Sega (she's supposed to represent the defunct Sega Neptune system)
Blanc/White Heart = Nintendo (Lowee stands for Wii)
Noire/Black Heart = Sony (Lastation is Playstation)
Vert/Green Heart = Microsoft (Leanbox is XBox)
In Hyper Dimension Neptunia: Victory, they introduced some more goddesses:
I was wondering what console Neptune was representing. Vert is a otaku how surprising! I wonder what audience DP is targeting with this anime, it makes me a little think to K-on with action, innuendo and fanservice. If was badass, I always liked girls with guns.
All of the goddesses are otaku though Vert is more obvious. She is into yaoi, collecting figurine, MMO-playing, etc. and introduced Nepgear to it. Blanc enjoys writing doujinshi while Noire enjoys voice acting and cosplaying much to the others' surprise. Nep-Nep is into gaming mostly.
Oh, it seems that Neptune, Noire, and Nepgear are the top 3 anime girls of the summer.

Yeah, I did. I just used the official wallpaper from the anime website and cropped it. ^^
The first game was... okay (apparently the developers rushed it so the gameplay was bad), but they're making a Vita remake which improves it. The second and third game are better since they made a lot of improvements with the gameplay.
More Rom-chan and Ram-chan awesomeness \o/
And Nepgear transforms! I wonder if the others are also limited by the very same reason she had that was holding her back. At any rate, they should hurry up and transform, too.
And IF-chan <3
Uni and Nepgear crying...
Very funny that Neptune still talks about being bored while she is a hostage... What an airhead...
Nepgear-chan looks pretty cute and strong in her transformed version desu~
Looking forward to the next episode! ~desu
PS: IF at the end... Priceless desu~
Entertaining episode. I like how they explained why Nepgear and the others haven't transformed yet. Neptune, Noire, and Blanc may have unintentionally hinder their younger sisters' progress, but Vert was wise enough to tell them. But then Vert is supposedly to be like a big sister. Oh, in case anyone is wondering, Nepgear and the other younger sisters represent the handhelds.
Now that Ge-Ge has transformed, we just have to see the others' next week. I can't wait to see them beat Arfoire and save their older sisters. ^^
Classic RPG strategy. Leveling up via killing fodder. Nepgear(I love how Japanese spell her name) finally evolve. Compared to the big sisters her transformation is moe. I guess the one who his less likely to evolve is Uni actually.
