Oh. my. god. If that really is Frohze and not some sort of body snatcher, it's starting to make sense why there was always such a disturbing lack of mention of Frohze throughout this manga. The world was built on the achievements of Acacia, so why were there no noticeable monuments/shrines to Frohze? Acacia was seen as a savior because of his full course despite the fact that someone else prepared it, and I'm not so sure that Frohze was ok with that lack of recognition.
Well that is quite the bang that just happened. I still wonder if it's shaping up that to end this conflict one of the super strong old timers Jiro/Setsu get killed trying to save everyone.
If that really is Frohze , i would wonder why Setsuno in the beginning of this tournament said to Zaus that Frohze died with a knife in his hand.
Holy shit now the war's between leader of Bishokuya (IGO & Bishokukai) & Chef (NEO). Shits are getting serious folks..
The Frohze's face !! It does not look like him/her at all. I think another dark chef who had stolen a Frohze's knife and hime/her skill book. Hope to see more details....
Well it looks like Jirou needs to transform into Gourmet Mode to battle Edo Tensi Frohze. I apologize in advance for making a Naruto joke in the Toriko section. On another note, I wonder if Acacia and Frohze had any biological children together?
Also, if you look at Frohze's eyes they look demonic. Like she actually has been revived in some manner or corrupted.
I think that we should be careful about saying that Joa is Frozhe... Joa looks like Frozhe but looking like doesn't necessarily has to mean you are actually.
I like the idea of the body snatcher analogy. Joa was the four beasts' mastermind and we know how strange that creature was. Its limbs were beasts itself and the four beasts (and its limbs) itself were subject of an overwhelming, curious evolution. Joo was that oddity's mastermind. Joa could be a high capture leveled, intelligent parasite which entered Frozhe's body but Joa could be on the other hand something or someone else.
I don't believe that Joa is actually Frozhe. It could be one of his/her/its manifestations...

Man jirou's ugly xD, kind of ruins the epicness of his entrance almost haha.
Man the weird thing about mangas is that you don't know the gender. Just like with the food honor girl

I did not think that I'd shit a brick two weeks in row..
Oh god. I kinda like obamamania's theory about Frohze turning evil due to lack of admiration at the expense of Acacia. It would make sense after all, she had to cook his food so it would be fine as it was, he just put in his full course and discovered it, she has half the merits.
And to you guys who think Joa might actually not be Frohze. This part is not known yet, so you could be pretty right. However, in my opinion it's her. Why? Because her face look could be exactly what Dark Techniques do to you. They "take a root" in your body, infect you or whatsoever. I as well do not like to bring Naruto here.. but for the god's sake, imagine it as Orochimaru's forbidden seal on Sasuke. In this case the "seal"/infection/rotten cells would dwell in your body from using Dark Techniques frequently and therefore could ruin your appearance, make your body go through mutation. I am sure you pretty much understand what I mean. And not to mention her appearance could be also a result of using something on herself. Body improvements, perhaps? Or maybe just too much of revitalization. After all, since it is kinda forbidden within IGO's reach, it must have some side effects.
Last thought before the chapter is out and hence we will be able to tell more. I do not watch anime, it was
crapnot a good show for me so I dropped it. However I sometimes check the trailer/preview to see how far has it gotten so I know that Joa has already made an appearance in the anime, too. Did that character have a manly or girly voice, that is the question. Because I am not sure if Shimabukuro told the TV what he's going to make. It would be kind of a cliche if it spoke manly in the anime and later turned out to be a women. And just wearing a dark coat is not something you can use as an excuse!
So joa is female? He/She had male's voice in the anime and his/her body looks really manly.
Damn I shouldn't have entered the spoler section. XD
Anyway whoa, that was hinted, but not expected, at least for me.
I too like the idea of the body snatchering also because, as someone already mentioned, Frohze's (?) eyes seem possessed...
Joa is not Fronhze - he used some dark technique to absorb Fronhze's body and knowledge. Remember all the brains in the Meteror Garlic arc - that chef can absorb knowledge through it, so it's not surprising Joa took his/her body
Those scars (knife cuts) make her looks like a zombie.
Did someone revive her?
Or is it her daughter? Chiru's mother?
Or her disciple?
Or just someone else who tought his/her skill is equal to the 'GOD OF CHEF'? Cut and use her facial skin?
Joa vs Frohze (or at least look a like).
Two old legends that can transform their look to be young again.
Knocking master vs Master Chef.
It is an epic if they fight seriously, regardless if JOA is truly Frohze or not.
But maybe they'll just exchange some blow to test the other and than Joa'll retreat.
What do you guys think?
