WSJ Pirate Kuro Kuroku by Atsushi Nakamura

Genres: Action, Comedy, Fantasy, Shounen, Supernatural
    Story and Art: Atsushi Nakamura
    Serialization: Weekly Shounen Jump
    Publisher: Shueisha

Yusa Chiaki is a ordinary high school student, whose motto is simplicity and frugality. Her favorite character is Uesugi Youzan. One day while going to search for a part time job she gets chased by kappas and a mysterious man rescues her. What will happen to her now?

Note: I've seen some saying Kuro Clock may be a mistranslation, but I really ain't sure which one is right so I just went with what the Manga Sites say.

The Raw to the first chapter is out.
You may read it here, Chapter 1.

    First chapter is out.

Besides, if you read the story, it has nothing to do with both clock or some king of time-related.
If it wouldn't have been in Japanese, and it has nothing to do with reading the story when only 1 chapter is out.

Umineko had nothing to do with "When the Seagulls Cry" until the end of the 1st Arc.Just saying.

Anyway, would appreciate it if a Mod could change it then.

Finally we have Men in Black as a manga
I'm not sure what to think about it yet, but I'll keep following it for the time being.

This first chapter was a bit weird for me. The way the girl was employed was not really natural and the little kappa girl felt like something to display the hero ability. As often for a jump serie, it starts too fast for having a good setup. Well Kiroku has some funny moment and Yokai series can be fun.

I kind of agree, the typical 'jump' start which makes it difficult to give a judgement. This reminds me storywise of a mix between oumagadoki doubutsuen and Mieru Hito. These two manga did not have a long life cycle. The main male character is cool, his power is interesting as might be his history. I hope that the female main character does not become annoying.

Anyway, a generic start... But let's wait and see!

Complaints about the thread title have been deleted. Further complaints will result in immediate disciplinary action. Please have some consideration for people who don't give a fuck, and just want to discuss the manga. The thread title has been changed, hopefully you children are happy.

The concept has potential, but too typical starting chapter to really care about it yet.

Chapter two was kind of a let down, a disappointment. The second chapter did not add any character development at all, nor was there an interesting story in. Well, let us go by this daily event chapters and later on some interesting story might be added.

Yes and the new character was plainly boring. I think I will pass on this one, I doubt it can become really interesting.

I'm not sold on this series just yet unfortunately, it has potential. If they're gonna continue with the battle elements I hope they make the opponents more difficult. I know it's the start and all, but one hit?

Meh... I dropped it midway through the second chapter, it's just way too generic in literally every way. I'd honestly be blown away if this didn't get an early cancellation (like most new Jump battle series).

Aw, it looks like the manga has stopped being translated. I wanted to give it a change to prove itself.

This is a Jump battle series, if it gets through its first 20 chapters or so without getting canned it will start getting regular scanlations.

Yeah... I really can't see it getting past 20 chapters to be honest. Some MUCH better series have been cancelled.

EDIT: Issue Three scans thanks to MangaBandits

I definitely don't see it lasting. 3 chapters out so far and nothings really hooked and i don't care at all about the characters or story so far.
