Since there haven't been any posts for 3 months now and the view count isn't increasing by much anymore either, I'm unstickying this. Please keep in mind that you can still find this thread easily by using the thread directory.
Two last pieces of info:
-Hiyoshi now has a new special move called Kobujutsu Stroke. I don't know for sure what it is, but I think it's probably how he returned Atobe's Tannhauser.
-Amane's special move is Pun Destroyer - which is probably just him being himself.
Kobujutsu ("Feudal Weapon Arts") is the signature martial art of the Ryūkyū Islands.
Rough translation of Yagyuu's Speed stat description:
"He moves across the court silently and without sound. It feels like he's already in the course of the ball before anyone notices."
So the way I understand it, he basically covers for his low speed (as a reminder, it's only a 2) by predicting the shot course.
Yagyu's speed stat is quite interesting. I thought it would be kind of higher. At least 3-4.
I thought the same about Sengoku, even more considering he has Motion Vision and his reactions should be better then (but I guess Motion Vision is mentioned in his high mental). But nope, Mr. Jr. Senbatsu whose potential is second to none has crappy stats.
^ Basically the forgotten bros.
Even Fuji is becoming trash. I can't believe, he wasn't selected to challenge the genius 10. While Marui, Kite, Gin, Akutsu were. Still hoping, either he or Yukimura faces Ryoga.
^ I doubt it. Fuji is not strong enough to go against Ryoga. Ryoga could easily pwn him hands down.
Maybe when Tokugawa recovers he'll verse Ryoga. That "burning sense of rivalry" may hint to something. I can't see anyone else versing Ryoga. They'll all get pwned.
He might plays and manage to score a pretty good point or two. Who knows, Sanada and Akutsu pretty much get 6-0 but they still plays their enemy.
I'll like to see Togukawa vs Ryoga, though. I always thought their rivalry for a little brother would be funny to see in the manga.
Yeah, tbh when Konomi hinted that I was really expecting a match between those 2, but nope. Atm, even if Tokugawa seems to be super strong, something tells me Ryoga is still better.
But what I want to see the most are more MSers' matches. I'm prolly alone in this one, but I want to see how those guys we've followed since PoT have evolved (I couldn't care less about Tokugawa :/ ).
^ 3/4 of the MSs are forgotten.
