Oh, go root for Gambit against Black Sword...pff
C9 vs Fnatic !!!
This is going to decide much likely the discussion around which region is better! All the trash talk between EU and NA.
I want Fnatic to win this so hard, but i think c9 has really high chances of winning this.
I think Meteos said something about they having a positive score on their scrims they have been doing, and the same applies to there scrims vs Fnatic! Anyway playing a scrim or playing a game that actually counts a lot is way different.
Fnatic plz 2-0 C9!
Honestly don't know who I'll give it to. Fnatic coming in with massive morale due to 7 win streak, not to mention being seriously warmed up due to group stages. I wonder if it's rather advantageous to actually go through group stage, granted you get out of it of course.
Will be an interesting series at least.
Well, i would love that both Fnatic and Gambit made into the finals, but i think that isn't that much likely.
But i am confident that Fnatic/C9 will make into the finals.
And i have seen a lot of people not liking the format of the tournament, and i kinda agree with them.
Honestly i would already be super happy if instead of bo3 the games on the quarters were bo5.
Honestly it's kind of sad for the teams that lose in the Quarter Finals, if they didn't play in the group stage. 2-3 games in Worlds and they are already out... I would have honestly preferred standard tournament format without free-passes into QF. I would have liked to see C9 combat more international teams.
But of course, the trashtalk will be immense

Reading up on last years finals, it feels like they improved the Group Stages in some way, but the Quarters might suffer because of it.
I personally don't know what's with Riot and these single-elimination tournaments. Every other region, outside of EU and NA, have winner and loser brackets. I'm not sure why Riot against that.
Lol, the fans of the winning team will trash talk the other team's region like there's no tomorrow, making up ridiculous arguments. No matter who wins. Even if there's close games. What matters is the W, and the fanboys will do what they do best.
I would had liked C9 against Gambit a lot more though... now it's a though one. I mean, I like Fnatic more than any other team left so I hope they win, but I like seeing how scav is wrong all the time too :/
Meteos was saying how Alex told him backstage that he wanted him to draw Gambit, would have been pretty fun. I think both matchups are cool though.
Oh yeah I saw that too (that was after the draws).
Is it just me or Alex really looks like a children's movie bad guy and has always tthatt kind of vibe around him? I always thought that for some reason... maybe I watched too many Disney movies in my childhood but I swear to god he looks exacly like this guy to me:
Yes I know, I'm weird
I actually find Alex kind of similar looking to Messi sometimes
Yeah, you're pretty weird...
I just think he looks like a nerd, like everyone on the team, save for maybe Darien.
Seriously. I don't mean to be rude or over the line here, but get news from a pedo child kidnapper from a foreign Eastern-European country, and Genja's face fits perfectly. I can imagine his face perfectly on horror news like that.
I always thought he didn't ook nerdy at all... and this is offtopic but his wife is hawt.
Actually, I think that the % of nerdy looking players is lower in Eu (compared to NA). I dunno, maybe because 80 % of the NA players are a bit Asian or something (and he other 20 % except meteos doesn't help either lol)...

Yeah, totally rapist material.
