What are your favorite visual novels, and why?
Not that I've played many VN yet but from what I've seen so far, Fate/Stay Night definitely is my favourite. It has a very interesting setting and provides you with everything that's necessary for an epic story. Multi-layered and likeable (or love to hate) characters, some great plot-twists and a unique kind of story-telling. It has it's slightly boring parts right at the beginning because it feels a bit stretched and unnecessary but afterwards it's a big rollercoaster of emotions, I could barely stop reading after a while.
Still waiting (im)patiently for the anime remake, I'm sure it will gather lots of new fans, should ufotable adapt the story more faithfully than Deen.
I've played an awful lot of visual novels in my otaku three year spree and I have to say that I loved them all. From its humble beginnings starting from true love '95 to the latest CLOCK UP's SADOBU and Akatsuki-Works VN, I just can't get enough of it. Especially funny ones, like Ren-ai zero kilometer and Yukizakura.
P.S. : Saber is still the most bad-ass character that I've encountered so far. Unless you want to get chopped in two, I suggest we all stay away from her.
Golden Time Vivid memories & Glass Heart Prince-less are some of my favorite. I loved them all. Visuals and graphics are specifically perfect in these novels.

Mmmm I've not played so many visual novels but my favs are Dramatical Murder & Fate/Stay Night ^^
Yeah they are awesome ^^ I haven't played a lot neither tho -.-'
Now that I've finished some more VN it's time for an update. I really loved Ever 17 and G-Senjou no Maou. The first has a really nice mix of drama and mystery + probably the best plot twist I've seen up to date. The latter has psychology at its finest, a really suspenseful battle of the wits. The ending is awesome too, I cried my heart out
