Finally we have seen a member of Tartaros and he's also the one who froze the entire village of the giants just to eradicate Atlas (whose disappearance made me a bit sad).
This Silver guy sure is a dangerous one and I wonder whose tomb was he visiting......future character development for someone?
Anyway I really liked this chapter and I believe that the arc's aim was that of introducing Tartaros and that spell called E.N.D (which reminds me of Endless from RM. XD).
I wonder what will happen now though; will we see another God of Ishval?
So, now we know how Chelia learned her GSM by herself from a book. That's good since i was really confused as to how she was able to learn her magic. Now we only have to find out how Orga learn his GSM.
On another note, we have GSM as the opposite of DSM, and now we are getting DSM as the opposite of normal Elemental Magic.
Now, what would this E.N.D be. It doesn't feel like it would be a some sort of Spell, but rather it seems to be some sort of being. Could it be a powerful Dragon.
Anyhow, doesn't this Silver guy remembers the last of the FT founders? It would be outragerous if Tartaros was lead by another former FT member.
On a sidenote, Tartaros hunts demons? Does this mean they aren't a evil guild but actually a cover up organization like SHIELD?
Devil Slayer. I saw that coming from miles. In fact, I thought of this idea the moment Zancrow was introduced. And what's with the Gildarts look, can't Hiro think of a better design.
Wonder how GH used to be the strongest Dark Guild. Maybe Tartarous strength spiked up a bit too much.
Devil slayer, god slayer, they don't really mean anything to be honest. God Slayer magic was extremely forced and handled very poorly, hopefully this could be better. Still can't see nor understand why Devil Slayer magic could/should be stronger than God slayer ditto.
That place where Silver is,It seems to be in the land (Like country,Does it have a name? I don't remember lol) where Gray and Lyon were trained by Ul.I wonder if Silver is Ul's husband and he is visiting her grave.Hmm..
I already see Natsu eating his ice.
Anyway, what's about that "Kyuukimon" stuff? Anybody ideas? Something like departements in Tartaros?
Somehow it's funny to me that a Demon Slayer is in a dark guild.. I guess at least one of the other three Gods of Ishval is also a Demon Slayer
Best chapter I ve read in a long time. I am really looking forward to these days chapters.
This guy Silver is either Ur's husband or Gray's father. Since FT is full of cliches, I bet he's the latter.
Ok, so we have some important revelations.
First, Demon-Slaying magic (and subsequently, Demon-Slayers). The fact that it could freeze Atlas Flame, definitely shows it's something special. I wonder if it forms a trio of Slaying magics with the others? Orga and Chelia couldn't do anything against the dragons, but their magic is strong enough against the Dragon Slayers. Not only that, even though Silver did manage to freeze Atlas Flame's fire, he still couldn't extinguish it completely. So, I'm wondering if they form a hierarchical structure. Or maybe it's pyramid-shaped with Dragon Slaying magic at the top.
Speaking of Chelia.... so she learned GS magic from a book? hmm.... not exactly the most satisfying explanation, but it was definitely implied given how Hades "taught" Zancrow Fire GS magic. And we did see Ultear researching time magic in Hades' library, so it's not impossible that Hades had the materials necessary for Zancrow to learn Fire GS magic. I think we might learn a bit more about GS magic from Orga sometime soon.
And.... I really have this feeling that Romeo is gonna be the next Fire GS. If he learns about the source of Chelia's magic and he researches it with Totomaru, they could find some way to apply the basic applications of Chelia's magic to Rainbow Fire, then I think he could learn it. I'm sure that Dragon Slayer magic has an underlying basic application between them. This also applies with GS magic. I've always felt that Totomaru has been seeking Fire GS magic and put his entire life to researching it. If he finally learns of Chelia's book, he might finally have a breakthrough in his research. But I have a feeling that only younger mages can learn it because of their still developing bodies. Totomaru might learn that he's too old and not suited to learn it. But Romeo can.
I'm thinking Romeo will eventually become FT's Niebel, where he'll have a big fight in the last battle.
Next, E.N.D: This is by far the most significant development of the manga so far. Only second to Zeref's reveal. It's definitely reminiscent of Endless, so it could be something the lines of that. But whatever happened, I think it has a relation to Zeref's face heel turn.
And finally, Silver. Like someone said, he looks a lot like a cross of Gildarts and Gray. He could be either of these people; Gildarts' brother, Ur's husband, and lastly, Gray's long-lost father. I'm heavily betting on him being Gray's father, it can't be a coincidence that Gray, of all people could utilize his magic. And the scar on his eyebrow reminds me of Gray's. Who knows? maybe Gray got himself scratched on purpose so he'll look more like his father.
It was only a matter of time before we saw demon-slaying magic, the continued appearance of the god-slayers and the appearance of a demon supported the idea. The mention of E.N.D. is likely something that is critical to the upcoming arc, curious to see what type of magic it is that could be of such great importance. And it seems as though the battle against Tartarus is on its way, and Gray apparently already has his opponent lined up. This Silver might stir up some trouble.
So many people here already speculated on Silver "true" identity.
I doubt that he's Gray's father (also because his parents were killed by Deliora), that's why I think that it is more plausible that he's Ul's husband.
In any case he's really an interesting character, also because he's the first devil-slayer that we have seen.
