PFFFT - You expect me to believe you only worked on that today? lol

It looks awesome, sometimes I wonder if I should go take a formal art class.

but on the other hand is really difficult for me to stay up late

Oh yeah, the "It just works" Apple loves to say is not so true...
I think the longest we've waited was 20 days, right before christmas in 2012. App Store goes on recess after christmas, so there are a lot of apps being submitted during that time... since middle 2013 it got a lot faster and now the average time is 7 days.

There are some really nice parties during Carnaval, and I really like to watch the parade, usually the Rio de Janeiro one, that is the main event. But what I find interesting about it, is that every region has its own type of celebration. In Rio and São Paulo is really centered on samba, whereas in northeast you have Bahia's axé music circuit and Pernambuco's frevo music. You have to come so you can participate in a "Bloco do sujo" where the boys dress up in girls clothing and go around town singing and partying, it's so amusing XD

But yeah, the country won't stop until long after the World Cup. Don't know how it will be here where I live, as we won't have any games, but is a big touristic destination in Brazil. I expect people to come, but it will be winter, and they won't be able to go to the beach then :T

I like HTC One visual, but it's not sold here, so I'm not that familiar. Nexus 5 was released last week and there were big shops announcing it for R$2800 (~US$1200), the internet went crazy and soon the price was changed to R$1800 like the other normal shops...
The search is really good, specially because you can search for "pizza" and it will get you the phone number of a nearby pizza delivery, for example.

It's a dorama actually, Ima ai ni yukimasu, we got the film too from my japanese teacher, my mom chose it...
I'm actually good on both fronts; I can sleep pretty much anywhere. I'm infamous for falling asleep on public transport and also in friends' cars, so I have to sit in the back seat most times

My problem is not sleeping long enough and early enough.

I can imagine it'd take them quite a while to work through approving all the submitted apps from the Holidays, that would explain some delays in response after that time, but you'd think a company of their size would consider that fact and have a solution. I guess a 7 day average waiting time is fine.

That's why I want to come too; to experience the different aspects of culture within the many states there and traditions. Bloco do sujo sounds like something I need to avoid at all costs

You'll be one of the lucky ones that won't get an absurd amount of foreigns or football fans, but there will definitely be an increase in holiday-goers during that time.

Check it out, HTC One is the most beautiful handset there is. But the prices you guys get over there for technology is ridiculous. You can get that here for here for around $650-800. The Nexus 5 is around a similar price, if not slightly cheaper.

Yeah after I posted here about the phone app, I went to YT to check it out; that new addition will come in handy for takeaways, taxis and other contacts you could need.

Let me know how the tear session goes

Oh, poor Charlie... what's important is that you have the spirit of a young one
You can always practice with tutorials and so on, if you like it

But how do you feel the next day? Are you able to rest even with less sleep time?

I have a friend that calls me "old lady" because I fall asleep in the couch watching tv at 10pm T~T

Yeah, but it's a lottery. We had an app rejected, but on the day before one was approved and had the exact same problem. We see that some apps were used in Cupertino, but not all. They must have something automatic though.

But Bloco do sujo is the most traditional thing! XD
I feel glad that there's someone curious about our culture

It will be good for the city's economy, so I do hope more tourists come.

Yes, the prices are absurd. Every new one that comes out only gets more expensive. When the Note 4 or iPhone 6 lauch, they will probably cost R$3000 or more. People pay and the companies enjoy their money. It's all about social status :T

Yes, the phone search is really useful, great addition.

Ok, I'll let you know XD

Usually okay enough to work or do other things; but the fatigue would creep in at some point during the day. I can deal with it and have been doing so for a few years. Just need to get into the habit of sleeping earlier than I usually do

You have the soul of an old lady...living inside your body But if you're back from a particularly long day at work, it's normal. I'd sometimes spend whole days in front of the computer at work, so the moment I get home, I don't really want to see another bright screen in front of me.

It'd be lame and very discouraging for the programmers and developpers if the approvla system was automatic; that's too much of a gamble. You could make the most amazing thing, but it's up to luck for it to be approved. :/

Noooo, I'm not parading in a dress; you can stop thinking about it now .
Sure I do; I love discovering new things, nation's cultures. Which is why I enjoy travelling and hope to see as much of Brazil in that one month as possible; just to experience the traditions, daily life habits, the different cuisines; yes food is gonna be a big part of my holiday . So yes, I want to reall immerse myself and learn.

It would be good for the city, but that's only true as long as your government invests the money where its needed and not just pocket it, while there are things that need to be fixed.

Social status; that's it. I feel that not very made people get phones for their specs anymore, more just the aesthetic and media/social buzz surrounding it. I need my smartphone to be able to do the task of many technology equipments and be my own Jarvis. I take photos quite often, so a solid performing camera is very important to me.

I was thinking of an actual class. Im not too much of tutorial type learner, if that make sense.

A buddy of mine is or was.... or was and still is an artist at one point (lol). He had some blog or something and one of his works was used as book cover in one country. Although the us version of the book did not use his picture. He was thinking shit, he could have made millions.

Nana so kind of been singing or maybe not singing per-se but kind of saying out loud.
'Boom Boom Boom' whilst at work. This is somewhat of an old viral video / song but have you heard of this? lol

Just curious do you have any work habits that you do or find yourself doing??

It makes total sense, for some things I can't really use tutorials either, but you also have to find the time for the classes...
It was used without him knowing? Or it's just because it wasn't used in the US?

huahaha no, I've never heard it before.
and I've been watching few things on youtube lately, only my subscribed channels...

I actually have one habit: talking to myself XD
I make comments about my work as I go, this would distract people around me, but know everyone got used to it...

We are best friends, but neither of us did it... It was part of the last art contest, that we would use the winner set... and it's actually on my sig: "set by Biloon"

Maybe some kind of sports/exercise at the end of the day? It helps me a lot to go swim before sleeping.

Well, if there's nothing wrong in your app, it will be approved (even though apple changes the policy regularly and you may have a surprise). The thing is, apps with a lot of problems go to the store because they don't seem to run all the tests for everyone.

    huahahah
I hope you really enjoy when you come XD
You won't regret the food, there are a lot of simple but delicious foods here, I always make this an important thing while traveling too, but I focus on sweets :P
I have this list with a friend of places we want to go, we just don't have enough money yet... This year, our objective is Peru.

Yes, we depend on the government (not that much of a good thing) to reinvest the money, but I'm thinking mainly of the commerce and hotels... we have a lot of seasonal business, because after summer vacation the owners aren't able to keep them alive until next season :T

Yeaah, the more the buzz, the bigger the sales. A lot of people don't even know what the specs mean.
And we have people buying "Smartphone 5S with Android 4.1" out there, thinking they will get an awesome iPhone :T

Someone from the company approached him, saying that saw his artwork somewhere. Having a limited budget offered to pay him a very small fee to use his art. He said ok (not thinking things clearly obviously ). Later he found out that there was a US release of the book but with a different cover.

At some later day maybe next week, I'll post the book or art work.

Re: Drawings & chocolates ~ Surviving the summer~

So, this thrusday to friday night there was a shortage on water on the building were I work (something recurring this past couple weeks), and people there did something incredible: 4 different rooms were left with faucets open! 4 places!! It was chaos after the water started flowing again. I still can't believe it, how did they manage to do it...

    Oh boy, that's a shame :T
I would like to see it!

huahauahahahha but then, there's weird stuff everywhere for us to find XD
here is usually some drunk guy saying stupid things, that's what I find the most

well, that song stayed on my mind for hours, actually (and now it's back because I started thinking of it XD)
maybe because of the repetition, that usually does it...

It would be like four/five times a day:
    "What's wrong?"
    "Huh??? Nothing......"

Well, there are the ones who listen to music so loud we can hear trough their headphones, and there's me XD

Got it - this is the book / his cover on it. Have you seen or heard of it before?
Apparently the company allowed his name or email to remain for being the books cover artist.
So all the first books have his name on it to be seen.

Most of his stuff is under portfolio tab and sketchbook.

Those illustrations are awesome, and the book cover has so delicate details, quite traditional...
I had't heard of it before, but I did a little research, and found the brazilian edition

I listen to podcasts while I work, but if it's music I have this urge to sing along, so I usually don't do it... only if I have to enter a high concentration mode, then I put my headphones on and listen to some games/movies soundtracks

I'm usually already tired by the end of the day; from work and gym. All I want to do is just jump into bed. I guess I just need to regulate my sleep better; between 10pm-midnight would be perfect and ideal.

If there is something wrong though, does it give you a detailed report/breakdown of what isn't working? or just a simple rejection?

Will you be around to meet us at any point? Sweets? Eww( ). Nah, for me my money goes to manga books, travel, food and some clothes. Quality over quantity in all those cases .

Why Peru in particular? I want to have overseas holiday every year; outside my continent. maybe US and Japan will follow in the coming years. Travelling around Europe is relatively easy, even at a short notice, so I could always do 3-day weekends somewhere in between.

They are like the parents, so it's only normal. Like you've said, I imagine Brazil being the tourist hub that it is, once the tourists leave certain cities and areas, income goes way down. A business credit would greatly help those businesses stay afloat and manage during the downtimes.

I can't remember the last time I bought an eletronic device without looking at the specs. And I always look at it for a while, try it out myself if possible.
