so sad, did everyone abandon this manga ?
I still like it a lot and it's indeed sad no group seems interested in doing this series anymore.
Hmm, why Hox stopped doing this series? (does anyone knows?)
I just found this on Hox site: http://hoxtranslations.blogspot.com....l#comment-form (check the comments)
Looks like he was somehow "forced" to stop doing the series... However I wonder if he is doing the series on 4chan (since Hox post there sometimes)
Yeah, it's obvious it's him. He even eluded to it by putting "work on it" in quotation marks and asked people not to comment about it on the site.
does that mean we can't expect any more translations until another group picks this up?
I was wondering what was up. The raw has been out forever, and I was checking again and again for the english release. Hopefully he picks it up again or another group picks it up. Vinland Saga is too good to not get translated.
I do think the farmland saga has dramatically reduced the english speaking fanbase. I loved farmland, but I think many gave up on the manga during this time.

I liked Farmland Saga as well but I believe that the prologue was so good and action packed that the slower paced farm arc turned a lot of people off which is a pity since that was good too. Hopefully this gets picked up again soon.
Farmland Saga was equally fulfilling, even in it's subtlety, to the first arc. I guess some readers need to see blood and guts.
that's what is supposed to happen when you change your product during retail
same for food, some people adapt to the new taste, others go to other brand.
wait, what? is there a new chapter out somewhere that I'm not aware of??
Kodansha US started to print and release translated hardcover versions of Vinland Saga. Pretty cool stuff I have to say, two volumes in one hardcover release. Around the time the first hardcover version was released, Hox obviously got pressured to drop his translations. Too much of a coincidence if you ask me.
It's a shame, but I fear we shouldn't expect a translation from whatever group anytime soon. I think last time it was simply shared on Mangafox without giving any source, so maybe this guy called H... ( ) will do it that way again.
