rofl, HS in open beta now. I like how blizz is so freaking generous to those that signed up 6 months ago. "Here laddy's, have access 5 days before everyone else has it too."
oh well at least my roomie can stop using my blizz account to play.
I mostly play Mage, some Paladin, and I've messed around a bit on Rogue.

I don't really get Doraku talking about needing to spend money to win. I haven't played a ton, but I usually win. Only messed around in Arena once though, so maybe it's more about that....or maybe Ranked play is a lot more difficult. I wouldn't know, I haven't tried it.
You get paired with people according your level. I thought the same as you,but yeah it gets harder. Once you get to lvl 10 in a class aprox you'll note the difference (kinda like playing arena and winning 3 games easily).
Also, mage and priest are the strongests decks imo by far.

@Dora did you fix your problem?
@Gary can you log in so I can whoop your ass and then play LoL?
I like priest the most out of the classes I've tried. I win most of my games with my current priest deck. Injured Blademaster is a central card in my deck. He's 9/10 cases an extremely useful card that does massive damage from an early point, and is simply healed up through priest spells and hero power.
I actually tried Arena but got super owned. I had clicked on it and selected Rogue when I got all the champs, and couldn't reselect the class much later when I was actually going to play. Didn't want to play rogue at all. Anyway I didn't manage to make a very good deck. Lost my first two, won, then lost a third so I only got 1 win = 1 deck + 30 gold. Below the worth of going Arena under normal circumstances (after first free round). I assume you go even or gain slightly (=total worth equal to, or more than 150g) by getting 3 wins in Arena.
I'm at rank 17 in ranked at the moment. I'd try it, it's a lot more fun than screwing around in Casual. In ranked you meet people with much better decks that are actually challenging. Casual game mode is 80% stomps from my experience, I almost never lose with a remotely decent deck and draw. Haven't played much though so I don't know how high I can go in ranked. I kind of assume people will start having very good cards around rank 10.
I haven't, Blizzard support has yet to send me an e-mail.
Blizzard support can take several days, but often 24hrs to respond. You sent them an email instead of submitting a ticket at battle.net?
Playing against a hunter is all about board control. Not allowing the hunter to mass up a massive beast board with buffs and out of control board in general. It's similar to playing against a Shaman, not allowing him to have too many totems up etc.
@ranked it depends on high in ranked you are, Doku. I'm 17 and I have no problem with my priest deck, which is made up of basic cards + 6 or so packs. Obviously it depends on your luck when opening packs, but so far none of my opponents come out with crazy decks with lots of epic and legendaries. It's the best way to improve however, since the opponents are better.

Went 7-3 in Arena today. Pretty satisfied with a couple really clutch wins. Even one that went as far as sudden death (both out of cards) and I only won due to the enemy having exactly too little hp for him to survive on his turn, otherwise I would die the next. He had 3 hp and lost 3 at that turn due to not having any cards, I had 3 hp left and he had 5 damage on the board. GG.
Got 185gold + deck. Pretty cool amount of cold when you win a lot of games. I suspect 6 wins = 150 gold perhaps to go even + get a deck.
I went with Mage btw, went for heavy nuke build with a trumpcard in Maligos (legendary drake with +5 spellpower).
Sudden deaths victories are the best, I recall winning one just because the damage is gradually bigger (like, the opponent had 2 LP left and a board with monsters bt no cards, and I was completely cornered with no cards nor monsters). I had to read the rules in order to know how the crap I had won
Fantastic game. Went into the arena yolo and first game greets me with a black screen and pink goo spot in the bottom left (yes those pink look-a-like-paint-skills spots are LEGIT. It's a direct screenshot from early-mid game. I'm like "wtf", some cards start getting flown out and it rapidly gets super messy. It got even worse but luckily cards on the board + my hand had priority and was layered on top of the other randomness.
Hearthstone issues2g!! PS I stomped him in that game, LOL!
installed that game today. its ok but i don't understand the hype. just played few games in the practice mode to understand the class
It's entertaining to play here and there. But I'm not really super hyped or addicted to it.
after playing a bit this morning i came up with one conclusion
That's always the conclusion when you're bad at something
It was hyped back in the day, because people wanted to play but didn't have a beta key and streamers/youtubers played it a lot, not because everyone said it was a ¨tenouttaten, must play before you die¨. I guess you're not really into card games or something.
