In this thread, we will talk about the issue on the birth and life of a Magi. In an era, there had always been three (3) magis, but in the current era where the story of Magi revolves, an exception has been occured and that is the fourth magi, Aladdin. But how can there be magi? Or how are they born into the world?
This thread contains SPOILERS that are yet to be seen from the anime. Non-manga readers, and to those who haven't been updated with the manga, you are Warned. Read at your own risk.
We have four magi living in the current era, Yunan, Judal, Titus and Aladdin. But before Titus, Scheherazade was in the position of being a magi. It has been revealed that by Yunan that it was Ugo-kun, the Guardian of the Sacred Palace, that gives birth/or rebirths a magi. Yunan had also said that he, himself, had died countless of times, but his ego and memories would always be transferred into another body. Thus, our theory of a magi being an immortal being has been somewhat dropped our theories list.
When Aladdin met Ugo-kun for the last time, he said that Aladdin was supposed to be dead because of too much magoi is drained off his body. But later on, Aladdin was "reborn" to a magi and he has been bestowed with Solomon's memories and by a new power, Solomon's Wisdom. On the other hand, Judal is in the same state of Aladdin that time. Ugo-kun had also said that he wanted to take Judal's rukh in the Palace too, but a certain force was stopping him. But then, Judal said that he felt like being reborn and he's overflowing with powers. We're not so sure about that...
But then, here's Scheherazade's case. When a clone of her dies, her rukh and ego and memories are being transferred to one of her clones. But remember, she hadn't been reborn for the past 200 years! Until Titus came, and her real body finally died, and both of their rukhs had went into the Sacred Palace, and Titus is reborn as the new magi of Reim... Is it only Scheherazade that can create clones to transfer her rukh without being sent to the Sacred Palace?
So I want to ask you, with this cases, is it possible for Ren Gyokuen to be reborn too when she dies? Or, how was she able to live that long without being reborn from the Sacred Palace?
Well first of all the magis are 5 not 4 :
1)Aladdin (from Alma Torran)
2)Gyokuen Ren (from Alma Torran)
3)Judar (from Kou empire)
5)Titus (from Reim empire)
To answer your question no i don't think she could revive herself and she isn't that old, the events that took place at Alma Torran was not very long ago and according to the magi wiki and magi perfect files she is 49 years old (http://magi.wikia.com/wiki/Gyokuen_Ren)
Gyokuen seemed to be 49, and that could be her physical age, but was it really her real age? She's actually from Alma Torran, but how did she end up living in the current era as Aladdin, Sinbad and the rest? Unless there was this time distortion between the change of worlds, then that age must be her True age. Alma Torran is a story from long ago, many had said that King Solomon had ruled the world from about a thousand years ago, but these people hadn't known about Alma Torran. LEt's take for example, Baba of the Kouga Clan.
here it seems to be a term that's sometimes found in relation to Buddha manifesting, and can mean 'the body that's alive in this world' or 'the flesh-and-blood body that was born into this world.' The 2nd part 身 is "body" or "oneself," and 移し has to do with substitution, transfer, permeation, etc.
