Just thought it would be interesting to discuss the power relations among the characters.
We can categorize them in this manner, for example;
I'm going to base this purely off what we've seen so far, with as little speculation as possible. Also, I'm only going to include the character's strongest performance, with the exception being Helbram.
1. Dreyfus/Hendricksen/Arthur (I WANT TO BELIEVE... he did injure Hendricksen)
3. Demon Meliodas
4. Normal Helbram with Link
Ehh there's no one I really want to put in here atm.
Of course, King's placement is probably going to change very, very soon.
To be fair, diane easily defeated helbram even with the power hendricksen had given him. Hendricksen immediately ordered helbram's retreat upon noticing diane on the battlefield and even then helbram barely made it out alive. Diane was defeated by dreyfus however there is the consideration that she started the fight in a very bad position and she took the full power from 3 competent people. Still, even after that she was able to easily get a hit on helbram (a hit which killed a few holy knights if I recalled which saved helbram's ass)... Who knows, in a more fair setting I would think it is entirely possible diane would actually match or even win against dreyfus. King is supposed to be a war deterrent if there is any truth to elaine's words. Odds are that he is well stronger than the current great holy knights.... Ban is hard to judge because without a weapon the actual amount of power we have seen from him so far is at beast a measly fraction of the whole thing. Now, if we consider the illusion gowther used on dreyfus I would think the implication is that each and every sin is actually as strong, if not stronger, than a great holy knight(they do say the only ones that might stand a chance against zaratras are the seven deadly sins). I mean, the manga is still using the fact that the sins can't or won't use their asinine strength as a plot device..... Even now meliodas does not have a sacred treasure and he appears to be the strongest guy around (and we know he can turn countries into craters on his own anyways).
I won't include Hendricksen but the power levels I like that for me:
Meliodas and Arthur>>>>>Gowther, King>Dreyfus>Diane>Ban> Gilthunder>=Threader>Hauser>Guila>Jericho.
With his power I don't know where to place Helbram.
Based on what we've seen so far...
King (Full Power)
Fodder Holy Knights
