Vote for your favorite winter 2014 anime, and discuss!
I voted for three animes:
Best animation among the animes watched for me and, as an anime adapted of a manga, extremely faithful with the original material. It only added more quality in the story.
The animation was as good as Nisekoi's animation was, and the story made me want to read the manga. I don't know if they were faithful with the manga, but they did a great job to attract people's attention for sure.
Funny as the first season and with a better romance in my opinion. They went further, if you know what I mean. XD
Well, refreshing and with a animation worthy of KyoAni.
In order, D-Frag, Hoozuki no Reitetsu and Nisekoi.
Noragami was good and consistent but overall I liked those 3 more, episode 9 was the best of this fall for me though. Some Space Dandy episodes were excellent as well.
Based on this review, I voted for my Top 5.
I have voted for Noragami since it was the inly winter anime 2014 that I've watched.
The story was great and it maked me want to read more of the manga. It was such a disappointment that it only has 12 episode, and one OVA. The story has a great mix of action, romance, comedy, and supernatural quest. Though there are some changes with the anime than in the manga. The animation is great and catchy too.
I voted Mikakunin, Witch Craft Works, Nisekoi, and Wake up, Girls. Mikakunin was my overall favorite of the season. It has the same sense of humor that made previous Dogakobo comedies Yuru Yuri, GJ-bu, and Love Lab so much fun, but adds a touching, heartfelt, slightly eccentric love story to the mix. Witch Craft Works was a perfect mix of comedy and action, with great characters and animation. Wake Up, Girls was a smart, funny, and touching variation of idol anime. Nisekoi is just a lot of fun, great animation and voice work. I really enjoyed winter season. Noragami, D-Frag, Tonari no Seki-kun, Sekai Seifuku, and Hoozuki were also very good anime.
Noragami, since it's only one winter anime i've watch. and I watched it because I like Adachitoka's work. and adaption didn't disappoint me, faithful and good effect animation. even I don't like original ending but still good, I want it has another season.
My two picks for my favorites are Nisekoi and Gin no Saji S2.
With SHAFT at the helm of Nisekoi, there's an extra vibrancy and life given to the source material. Although I know the main events that are going to happen in the manga, it feels like I'm watching a different series sometimes--in a very good way.
Gin no Saji season 1 was one of my favorites in the season in aired. Between all the action, supernatural, sci-fi, and mecha series I watch, I'm also a big fan of a promising slice-of-life/comedy series, and GnS fits that bill for me. The second season is more of the same from its predecessor, and there is nothing wrong with that. If something's not broken, why fix it?
Noragami should be up here as well, but I didn't click on it. A very good series, and I'm glad to see BONES is back in action.
