room 4 i guess would be the bathroom.
i think that both teams met for a reason i think the black balls from both rooms are planning somthing and i think that the misson they are on now with the 100 point alien is some sort of test to see who could survive because there was just to many aliens so i think theres gunna be a new room which they will both go into
What do you guys think about rooms 1 and 2?
My best guess is :
1. Both rooms open up after Katastrophe... the same way room with swords and bikes opened up
2. Room nr.2 is containing flying bike, and Osaka team's hammering guns...
3. Room nr.1 is... bathroom ... =^^= ... it contains special suit and if you sit on "The King's throne" you get to be teleported in "Gundam" robot. So it's only 1 robot and 1 special suit for whole team.
[So of course it will be taken by the leader (in this case Oka)]
Osaka team got it opened sooner couse they scored more points, but My guess is that by doing joint mission Tokyo team gained access to their weapons not only during it but also after it.
I'm almost sure that by the end of manga we will se room nr 2 open for Tokyo team. Not quite sure about 1 through.
By the way... here's more specified picture:
Ps. Special suit might be hidden in closet near the door.

You know, there is another possibility. Try this one on for size: There's a 100 point limit per mission. Every time a Gantz member gets 100 points in just one mission, like Izumi had from his flashback, one door will open. That one has the bikes and swords in it. Now that both Reika and Katou have made 100 points each on one mission, two doors will be open. The second door might not have anything in it, though, unless somebody else had cleared several times and chosen the powerful weapon every time (Nishi, maybe?)
If Nishi had more powerful weapons, wouldn't he have used them?
I agree that there is 100 point limit per mission. I think it's good theory Georgemarvin but something is bugging me about it. For example we know Izumi was a leader before he got freed. Even if he scored 100 points at once, in "shinjuku hunt" what You assume from his flashbacks, doors to room with bike and sword had to be open for several missions already if he remembed it and forgot about Nishi. But this argument also supports your theory - After Izumi got freed Nishi didn't use the room. Then again trough it would be hard for him to stay hidden on bike and kill monsters from a distance with a sword.
Secondary i went trough all chapters after jurasic mission where Tokyo team was in "The Room" and in non of them anyone tried to open both rooms i mentioned... Closest call was when Tae died and Kurono was looking for her in room. http://www.onemanga.com/Gantz/185/13/
Either Oku did it intentionally or just didn't bother like with kitchen.
Another thing is about weapons while in transfer... while i searched through i found out that if you are not wounded during a mission you and everything you are holding gets transfered to the room - when you had weapon in your hand outside you still have it after transfer... even if you get revived... ... If you left weapon, Gantz must transfer it back to the room couse they would run out of weapons too quick. For example bike.
Katou on niuri mission transfered without H-gun... yea but someone from Tokyo team might had it in hand while "last save" of them was made. Like Bike, H-gun will be somewhere stored... This Somewhere is in my opinion room nr 2.
Besides… I think that room nr 2 is open just no one is checking it after Gantz openes ball couse there is to much comotion during beginning of each and every mission.
No. Nishi is a natural born serial killer. He gets as much enjoyment out of killing as most people do from sex. Look at the fact that he gets off from the hunt, and watching things die. If he drove a bike or mecha, he wouldn't be able to use stealth to make the hunt up close and personal. He couldn't see the terror on his victims' faces as they died, or the dead bodies lying all over the place.Quote:
The little homicidal maniac gets a boner out of the mere thought of killing some kids. He's thinking about it enough to trigger the alarm for the bomb in his head. He just barely manages to keep his homicidal tendencies under control enough that Gantz doesn't kill him for hunting humans "out of season".
If the hunt was too easy, it would kill the thrill for Nishi. Truthfully, out of all of the Gantz members, he would be the one I would be most scared to meet in a dark alley. Even HS is a rational killer, who kills out of necessity, not a vicious predator who has an instinctive need to kill.
About when Katou transferred: Notice that he's in the position that he was in WAAAYYY back in the mission, when he pulled Anzu out of the big monster at the theater. Maybe Gantz didn't want him to remember that she became his girlfriend and died?

http://www.onemanga.com/Gantz/218/08-09/ is from chapter 218, when Katou got revived. Not from chapter 279 where he came back from nuri mission...
And if you didn't make mistake and are talking about this moment: http://img187.imageshack.us/img187/2...79p13fhhz1.png Then you can't see how he's standing - he moves as he's being transfered or shortly after and we don't see he's position....
Even if he doesn't remember her... the promice Nerd made will be surly brought up some time, when 2 teams meat again.
Actually, these are the positions when he transferred back and when he probably last remembered anything:
He is looking forward the page before, when his head starts materializing. He looks down at his hands, still in the position they were in when he was pulling Anzu out of the body of the alien.
In other words, Gantz pretty much made him forget the whole mission because he didn't want Katou to be distraught about Anzu.
