i think taht they would get their arses cooked with the fire of kyuubi no matter how many summons each of them does, i doupt they can each touch kyuubi, not even the sword of kusanagi was able to cut through kyuubi in 4 tail's naruto body mode... the burning and endless chakra of kyuubi would burn everything in a medium / smal ldistance

Well if they have no power to control the Kyuubi at all, then I pick the Kyuubi.

Well we've yet to see what the rest of Akatsuki can do but yeah, I'd give it to Kyuubi.

As it stands, I still think 4tk to be the biggest Juggernaut in this series and that's not even Kyuubi at half power >_>

To even consider fighting it probably means you'd need some kind of high AoE type jutsu like Kisame's Bakousouha. I mean, the thing even dwarf's Itachi's Susanoo

Not to mention the demonic properties of the beast's chakra. Apparently just being scathed by it can poison you and it burns away anything that touches it.

The only real weapon Akatsuki could use is range and try to bomb it with Deidara's stuff or idk >_>

If you are talking about defeating the kyubii as in killing him in a battle then my voto goes to kyubii. I dont even think it is possible for akatsuki to even scratch kyubii in a sneak attack, kyubii is way to powerfull. Also it is pretty stupd that akatsuke having less than 9 members can hope to defeat kyubii when konoha ddn stand a chance against t all those years ago.
If we are talkng about akatsuki sealing a free kyubii, then I think they stand a fairly good chance of doing it even without controlling it snce akatsuki´s member are extremely talented and powerfull shinobis specially pein and madara and itachi.

Do you mean defeat as in killing or defeat as in immobilizing(sealing) it. If you mean killing, i think it is impossible to kill the kyuubi. If you mean immobilizing, i think itachi can seal it away with susanoo or Pein can do something.

The Kyuubi.. However I really do think the Kyuubi has a rival wich we don't know... perhaps the eight headed snake.. Later on Naruto and Kyuubi is going to cooperate decently to fight out a powerfull vilian and I'm not talking about Pain Madara or team Eagle
