I wouldn't really say Karin is exactly busting out against any female stereotypes. Sure, she plays, but she was pushed into it, she's still pretty and feminine (of course), even her throw has a ridiculously girly name ("floral shoot" or whatever it was). Plus, despite all of the buildup they gave her, I don't remember her really having that huge of a role in the actual game. It was more like they threw her in so she could be the "non stereotypical girl", but I don't really think it worked the way they were hoping. =P

Maybe those insanely manly cheerleaders were the least stereotypical girls in the manga.. >_>
