How's summer's weather? Do you like it?

summer weather is nice, but sometimes it's too hot and humid for my taste. i prefer the coolness of the fall, but the lake effect wreaks havoc on every season around here. sometimes it's hard to distinguish

Do you watch anime more than reading manga or the other way around?

it goes in cycles, but generally i read more manga. i've been trying to read the manga first on most things, but there are some where i just go straight for the anime based on recs (lucky star, geass, haruhi, gintama, etc). what about you?

hehe, yeah i know. i kind of equate shoujo to chick flicks, which i like (the last movie i saw was sex and the city), but don't generally choose over other genres. tbh, i'd rather watch stuff like comic book movies (can't wait to see the dark knight at the imax ). i know i'm weird.....thanks for the recs anyway. i think i'm going to try nana as my next shoujo

i don't mind answering actually, i've never read any yaoi. i've warmed up to the idea of it a little bit, but i'm not really into it or anything. i do occasionally find fan arts that are nice....i mean, if the characters are attractive and the situation is appealing, it's hard to object *blush* but i do prefer those that leave a little to the imagination

well, i think i said something about suffering through it earlier, but that maybe a little harsh. it was just more tedious reading it week to week. i think it's better if you read it as a whole. i won't go into too much specifically, but if you want my opinions on the shortcomings of the arc, gigantor21 made a fantastic post over in the bleach hangout thread that i thoroughly agree with. it's not my favorite arc, but there were some good moments. i think the highlight was the fight between rukia and aaroniero. it was such an emotional fight! unfortunately, i do think the victory was a bit cheap...sorry!

-Do you think Ichigo is able to win Ulquiorra in the next fight?

as he is now? i'm not so sure. ichigo overpowered ulq when he first put on the mask (though ulq wasn't released or even using his zanpaktou) and now he we know he can last an unspecified amount of time longer. however, ulq's true power level (he's probably a vasto lorde) as well as any special abilites of his release are both unknowns. what it boils down to imo, is that ichigo is probably going to have to evolve in some way or add another skill in his repertoire in order to defeat him. what are your thoughts?

i haven't seen the reborn anime yet, but i just caught up to the manga last week actually. i do like it, but i wouldn't rank it as one of my favorites at the moment (even though the guys are hot ).

my favorite character is probably gokudera. i tend to think of him as kind of an underdog, so i just kind of want to root for him, you know?

To add to the list of shoujos, I'd say all the mangas of Kaori Yuki, meaning Count Cain, Angel Sanctuary, Ludwig Revolution... I don't read that many shoujos, but there's not a single volume of her (published in France, that is) I haven't bought And Vampire Knight is awesome <3

i've never really thought about going to brazil, but i'm not counting it out. it seems very beautiful....i'd love to go someday! unfortunately, i have a job out in the real world, so lack of vacation time is my biggest limiting factor >.>

Unfortunately, I've spent so much time there talking with the employees that they know more about me than most of the people I know, so they call me by my first name since a long time ago already (since the great thing with that store is that they have a part with tables and chairs and serves non-alcoholic drinks, and since it's a hundred of meters away from my university, I spent a lot of time there >.>)

And for the record, they'd call me Legendary Man C, I guess. With only 850+ volumes, I can't compete against my two best friends with 1500+ and 1300+ respectively
