    Whoo Hoo!

Nami and Robin are in the lead!

I love Nami's character so naturally I voted for her. And Robin's up there because her personality is humorously dark and creepy

I only voted for the other ones because they came from series I knew... It doesn't hurt to give others a little boost in popularity, does it?

    Other

Daniela (Ottavo) from REBORN. Yes, she only appeared in three panels but I love her. In one of the extra pages her family was one the strongest apart from the second and fourth (?) generations. Other female characters on the list are brought up in a world where fighting is the norm but her character exists in our world where women didn't have the respect they had during her time. (I'm assuming some time around 1940~50.) To become a female head of a Mafia is incredible so that's why she's my favourite heroine of any manga. :3

I voted for Nami as she's deviously smart and is pretty. Plus, she doesn't mind punching Luffy and Zoro even though they're very strong or using Sanji for her benefit.

"Robin, of course!" right when I just read the title <3

    Other (again)

I started reading ONE PIECE, and I find Bellemere to be my favourite heroine so far. (Nami is awesome, but hey, this woman raised her!) The love she has for her two daughters is amazing. Not only is she an excellent mother to Nami and Nojiko, she's also a strong-willed individual. She's independent and does what she wants; that's why I love Bellemere.

To add to that, since I wasn't at that arc yet, Robin. She's smart, hot, and pretty cool! I love how she made Usopp react when she said she was an assassin! xD

    SARI, CATCH UP!

Plus, she rocks the cowboy hats!

Why include Botan but not Keiko? She was pretty awesome, standing up to Yusuke like that when almost no one else (female anyway) did, though they were boyfriend-girlfriend (I think).

Doesn't Erza Scarlett deserve a mention on the list? Also Riza and Olivia from fma are way beyond the leagues of those on the list.

This thread is for the girls of Weekly Shounen Jump. The ones you mentioned are from other magazines.

Re: THE best woman(or girl) in WSJ!!

Some new heroines popped up so it's time to revive this thread I would like to know if the choice you made back then would still be the same and/or if you have a new favourite.

For me it's probably Chitoge from Nisekoi. Her interactions with Raku are just too funny and I find her interesting and special on her own. She may not be as deep a character as other Jump series girls are but she always makes me laugh not to mention that she looks pretty nice

    This +9000.

And also Hilda from Beelzebub and Tsukuyo from Gintama. Both of them are badass and can be quite funny too occasionally (and blonde as well. Probably I have weird fetish).

Re: THE best woman(or girl) in WSJ!!

For me, there still were some missing in the vote:
    • Bulma - DRAGON BALL
    • Shichouin Yoruichi - BLEACH
    • Reiko Katherine Akimoto - KochiKame
    • Mitarashi Anko - Naruto
    • Shizune - Naruto
    • Mikado Ryouko - To Love-RU
    • Kotegawa Yui - To Love-RU
    • Kisugi Hitomi - Cat's Eye
    • Mio - Blue Dragon Ral Ω Grad
    • Yukime - Jigoku Sensei Nube

And probably newer than the vote:
    • Aoki Yuriko - Bakuman.
    • Boa Hancock - ONE PIECE
    • Aoi Hana - Oumagadoki Doubutsuen
    • Hagiwara Natsuki - Anedoki
    • Fifi Collins - ST&RS

This thread and its poll were created before Sket Dance became popular.

I already voted, but I'd like to cast another vote for Lenalee. I always get defensive when I spot hater comments on Niconico. (They're few but still...)
