We begin with Mashiro is having breakfast. He is being bugged by both the tv show and his mom talking about his relationship.
Mashiro stops by a store and gets recognize by a few students from his old high school. They asks for his signature
Back to the workshop, Kaya has a magazine that rank the vocal actress weekly. Miho has gotten to third place.
Kaya suggests perhaps by next week, Miho will reach first place.
Takagi says it will be less likely because the votes are mostly from fans. Most fans still feel negative about the relationship and marriage. However, Takagi suggests other than these fans, most people are very positive about the relationship. With that support, Miho should gets the part without a problem.
Mashiro reply, Can that be consider getting the part with her own ability right??
Takagi says Mashiro is over thinking it.
Both of them go back on finishing the name.
Miho receives a commercial deal. However she wants to spend more time practicing for the role.
The agent suggests the commercial will help boost her fame, and help her with the testing.
but Miho still denies and she says getting the part with hard work, and bringing out a performance that will get everyone's recognition is more important anything right now.
The production house is having discussion about the relationship.
Thanks to the relationship, the animation also gets alot more attention.
The director Ehara wishes to find the right voice through testing.
the producer Konaka says yes, but in terms of fame or noise, Miho will win for sure.
At the meeting, Hattori compliment the two always able to bring out greatness at the worst situation. In his head, he believe these two kids, no with Miho's strength as well, they can all makes their dreams become reality.
Hattori says the sales has gone up. Zombie gets a million and fifty thousand copies, and Reverse has eight hundred thirty thousand copies. Takagi is excited and suggests that with the news and the noises out there, their sale with get even higher.
Mashiro is thinking if this really able to show their skills as a manga artist. Are people buying the manga really because of their talent? Even though, both Miho and himself didn't mean to create such a commotion at the beginning.
Back at Jump's office, there are still alot of phone calls reach the office about the relationship.
They are all negative about the relationship. The discussion concludes Miho being selected or not, there will be alot more phone calls coming in and bother the office.
At the meeting, the producer said he doesn't support the idea, but the director really wishes to do "this". There is no rejection yet, however, they will wait for Ashirogi's approval first...
The next day, the production team visits the workplace and have a meeting with Ashirogi there.
Two new characters present themselves from a company called Together movie.
Takagi recognizes the company being an online anime broadcast company.
It appears the production house wants to do a public vocal test.
They will select 20 vocal actors for the test, and it will be posted and voted by public.
Takagi worries it might not end well for Miho since most fans that vote won't be supportive for Miho. On top of that, since this anime is at a hot broadcasting spot, alot of the vocal actress who enters the test will be the top notch of the industry. It will be even harder for Miho to win.
The producer, Hattori and Takagi both suggests not to do this, just do a "representation" vocal test will be fine.
However, the director says he is the one proposes the public voting. He heard the radio broadcast before, and feels very touch. He believes this is the best way to show Miho can get the part with her talent and skills.
Mashiro reply,"representation" vocal test is pointless. He wants Miho to get the part more than anyone, however, it's even more important to win through real skills and talent. If this public vocal test is able to show the real skills and talent, then I agree.
Takagi suggests, this test might become more like a fame contest more than a skill contest.
Mashiro reply it's better than people call Miho takes the backdoor.
Miho has been practicing the role alot earlier than anyone. She pours her heart out to get the character right. No matter how many popular or talented vocal actress there are, Miho will beat them all. No, if she can't beat them all, she has no right to be the voice of Naho.
So please let go with the Public Vocal Test!!
