IMO they "die" and "reconstructs" with each transfer. Human life is cheap in gantz no matter how you look at things.

Even when the light beam thing is halfway transferring a gantzer's brain, we see the person is still alive, thinks and react, so there's no death involved.

Its released in Japan on thursday, and its usually scanlated and translated by Friday afternoon, give or take a day.

Did somebody noticed that host samurai had 42 pionts of the end of osaka mission and the child takeshi 26. On the end italian mission both of them had zero after scoring how its possible?

it's probably that they've gotten 0 points during the Italian mission, and instead of their total amount of points, Gantz displayed "Finished."

This has been bothering me.

Izumi was able to successfully reinsert himself back into gantz sessions/tokyo team by committing mass murder and getting killed (with no real guarantee that he would be reinserted, in my opinion).

Since he previously achieved the 100 pts and chose to leave, and getting killed put him back in the session, why doesn't that work for Kei?

Similarly, Kei liberated himself from the Gantz sessions, and was killed by the Vampires, but not thrust back into the Gantz sessions!! This is a pretty huge discrepancy in the storyline to me. Seems like a waste of the 100 points that Kato spent reviving Kei, when Gantz could have just reinserted kei after his murder.

Of course everything seems to be at Gantz' discretion, but it doesn't seem consistent.

Gantz gave Izumi a little ball. He didn't give one to Kei.

Tumerking is right. Gantz selected a lot fewer people to go into the room after Izumi's massacre than actually died. I've always believe that Gantz simply chooses who's going to go back to the room or not.
When HS killed Kei, he most probably wanted to see how the team would do in a mission without Kei vs the Nuraihyon.

Edit: If I'm not mistaken, the news said that Izumi had hurt and killed over 300 people that day. There were only about 20-30 people in the Gantz room in the dino mission.
