@georgemarvin - Okay, dude. I'll agree with you there. The main thing I mean was that they'll be kinda busy thinking about stuff more important than sex, I think.
I mean, after that extremely difficult Italy Mission, they probably will be very, VERY worried about Katastrophe. I mean, this mission cost a lot of Gantz teams a lot of strong fighters and this was still the last mission before Katastrophe. I imagine that Oku will make the characters put sex on hold, for now so they can prepare for the worst.

The poll is outdated now but I choose number one. She already has achieved number two.
Reika being a celebrity, it was surprising to she how quickly she advanced in Gantz. She has the brawns, brains and beauty. In the Rome match (I believe), you can see her set in position and sniping the monsters to get her points quick and easy. Most of the other guys just jumped into the battle straight forward. She has earned the 100 points reward menu a couple times. It's hard to compare her to other gantz females because we really haven't seem much aside from the main cast, but I'd say she is one of the strongest members in the tokyo team.

Aside from becoming a slight psycho near the end, she has been great in my opinion as a Gantz player.

So yeah in short, I'm a fan as-well. ^^

Really in what happens with gantz i can't blame her for the clone. You take what you can get if its possible.

What better aspects?

Oy, read my last few posts. She is useful in a fight, not shy about her attraction to Kurono(anime women usually blush and run away), took the lead in Kurono's absence and I feel is flawed in a real, human way. Compare that to most characters in anime that are superficially flawed (clumsy etc).

And yeah, she's a supermodel. Whats wrong with that?

"useful" is a questionable term. Not shy about her attractio is not a plus. She was a poor leader during Osaka. Katou quickly took over. And yeah she's flawed. Which is not a plus either. Not in a real way, either. She's a little unbalanced if you ask me.

I don't know about 'most characters' in anime, but my experience is that those 'superficial' flaws are mostly restricted to harem and shounen manga/anime.

Why do I question her usefulness? She's good apparently good at fixing up the injured and a decent fighter all round. But that's about it. There's only so much she can do with a tourniquet and the rest of the time she's average.

She does reasonably well hiding in buildings and sniping while the real fighters take things on face to face. If I was the one having to put myself in harms way time after time while some slut hides on a rooftop I couldn't really consider her 'useful'. Maybe if I get my arms and legs chopped off and the areas been cleared she MIGHT come out and help me, if she's not too busy stalking Kurono.

Just saying that from the perspective of any of the real fighters she must be kind of annoying.

Nothing, I guess, but that doesn't make her a good character. If anything the inhuman proportions Oku's given her are a detriment, but I guess some people like that...

@Charlie: There's only been about 4 women on the team, ever. She hasn't ever really done anything special, either. Sure she's survived I guess but never on her own merit. Someone else always takes care of things.

Real flaws are obsessions, prejudices etc. Something real people have. Hers fall into this category.

Christina Hendricks has a far more realistic body than Reika. Reika is all bust, hips and booty with zero waist...

It's funny that the Gantz community is so divided on the character of Reika.

Not saying it can't be useful. But to the rest of the team that tends to fight things head on she's pretty much a coward. It's not 'extremely dangerous to do'. It's one of the safer options, particularly when combined with invisibility.

Generally she's able to take care of a few of the weaker monsters. Ramp up the difficulty a bit and she's useless without someone to jump in and distract the enemy for her.

All I see are annoying character traits. Obsessing over someone can happen in real life, and as a leader it's not as though it's entirely out of the blue for someone to be attracted to Kei, but still... the way she just floats through life without any consequences annoys the hell out of me. Nevertheless, real or not, her obsession is nothing to boast about. Reika's a girl that can't have what she wants. Sooner or later it's going to come back to haunt her. Kei2 inevitably has to leave her...


Lol can't believe that people are sympathising with Reika's weird obsession. She's like a child. I hope Tae gives her a slap when she finds out.
