Was supremely let down by the announcement of the DS baseball game. This is NOT what we've been waiting since March to hear about! C'mon Sunday and Magazine, get it together, especially with Konami doing the games for you!

Glad to see Badboy on a cover for once.

Apparantly there will be two games...but yeah, baseball? I guess with all the baseball series in both their histories, it's a way to cover them with whatever the other game is not having them in it. (I mean, how could you sneak "Touch" or "Star of the Giants" into an action game...)

But the sports manga were all cameos and assists in JSS/JUS. None of them, not even huge series like PoT, ES21 or even Slam Dunk got anything more than assist cards.

    Re: Sunday TOC Talkback

This is just sad, I have made such little progress on my scanning project for this magazine. It's just that I am so damn behind with scanning or my group, I've also got some pages scanned but not precleaned so they are like 3000px and in serious need of rotation and what have you.

I may actually wait to the new year before I really settle in to this project.
Looking for Translators for various (all wonderful I promise) Seinen and Shounen projects PM me.

    Re: Sunday TOC Talkback

And my french sucks, but guessing it means Mixim is also ending yet another part?

    Mixim 12, 11, now 10?

Also thats AWESOME that Hyde will survive, but isn't it kinda funny that it's 'final' magazine issue it jumps up 5 spots?

Also because its going on doesn't that mean that the magazine really likes this manga? has this ever happened before?????

Also i wonder will t hey still release tanks... hum...

Kurohime switched to web only when Monthly Jump ended. That was because the mangaka started Pat - ken in SQ, I don't know as Shueisha forced the move. I believe some Young Sunday titles became web only after that magazine ceased publication.

    Re: Sunday TOC Talkback

    Couple bizarre things this time:
-KamiSekai is on top this week...I knew it was popular but that's like Toriko being #1 in Jump
-Hyde moving to web-only...at least it allows the mangaka to continue his vision and is similar to the Kurohime situation.

I'm glad to see Ocha is finally being translated. Chapter 1 was very good, I'm looking forward to more.

Kami color in issue 2/3 is something to look forward to!

    Re: Sunday TOC Talkback

Interesting development with Hyde...so when Kurohime went web-only, was it free or do you pay to view it? Seems like it'd be hard to work out if you're only paying for one series...

I'm happy to see Kekkaishi getting the cover next week. I'm always a little surprised by its lack of recognition in this country. It just sort of flies under the radar and gets taken for granted.

From the sound of things, Hyde will be free to read online. However, where it can be read, and how often it will be released is still up in the air.

    Koukushi Musou!! (Weekly)
    Nejimaki Kagyuu (Weekly)

Unfortunately that's how a lot of Sunday series are these days: even the big hits are under the spotlight as no one really cares too much...unless it's Takahashi.
