The Official 9 Jinchuurikis Mega Convo!

Do the children retain the demonic traits of their parents? This might explain the existance of people like kisame and oro who appear to be genitically different than humans. Like if Naruto had children would they get his regeneration ability?

I believe that the jinchuuriki are the origin of at least some of the bloodlines in the manga.

Well if the Jinchuuriki were blood related then the power would be spread out and wouldn't that weaken the beasts? So no I don't think they pass on there powers.

    Re: Jinchuuriki + kids

Hey, OniTensei had an opinion, he said no ^^; In a case like that you can only really speculate "yes" or "no" without much evidence anyway...

We haven't seen any children yet in the Naruto series where their "monster-like" genetic traits seemed to be passed on, except Kimimaro with his bones. But for Kisame to be an agent of the Mist, I think he would have to be accepted socially by that community perhaps. So there may be some cases where families do practice techniques that somewhat influence their bodies to be "more different." Kisame's case, it would seem, would be his enormous manipulation of water.

I think it's just more of a matter of the abilities that pass down through their families rather than any inheritance from the demons that exist in their world. Though there may be some cases here and there. We just haven't seen it yet.

    Re: Jinchuuriki + kids

I like to think that certain traits do get passed on. For instance, if the series ever gets to the point where we see Naruto's children, I'd think that they may have huge chakra levels, faster than average healing abilities, and maybe even a bloodline where they get a huge burst of chakra when they get angry.

To put it simply, even though there's no evidence, I personally like to believe that the power of the bijuu slowly fuses with the jinchuuriki's genetic code and in some instances could be passed down through the generations.

    Re: Jinchuuriki + kids

I would have to think it'd be passed down too. Something like that would surely have to have some kind of affect on a person's genetic structure. Maybe it won't entirely be obvious, but there would have to be some traits.

    Re: Jinchuuriki + kids

I don't believe that Jinchuuriki's pass on the traits of their dormant (or not so dormant) bijuus. Though the bijuus are sealed inside of them, I doubt they have any interaction with the reproductive process or genetic traits of a parent. It's unlikely that the bijuus are happy having to share their powers at all, and for any of it to be broken off and transferred to offspring may alter the actual bijuu. Pure speculation, though =D

    Re: Jinchuuriki + kids

the bijuus alter they host body but the real question is if it stays that way after they are sealed in another kid because if the host die then the bijuu is dead so if they do retain the powers from the bijuu then they can trandfer them on to there kids but if they dont then they cant and oro is just a freak that looks like a snake

    Re: Jinchuuriki + kids

hmm Bijuu is only in a person, but what it was talking about Naruto and his chakra abilities with Kyubi chakra, we can assume, that DNA of Naruto must be changed somewhat because of Kyubi. Not very muhc, but like some of you sayed, maybe a little. So if Naruto for example would have children, I would also assume, that this children would have some of abilities of Naruto jinhcuuriki itself ^^ But we will not see that I think, or answer to something like that ;p

    Re: Jinchuuriki + kids

I believe we will see Naruto's kids since the whole point of Naruto is to follow the growth and development of the ninjas. I can easily see a sorta father son moment at the end. About a kid wanting to surpass his father. It'll be very cliche~ish but thats what we've I have come to expect. What really suprise me is if Naruto's child is a girl, that would be some might good story telling right there.

    Re: Jinchuuriki + kids

I suppose that if Jinchuuriki did transmit their traits to their kids, it could account for some characters but I don't think that's the explanation of Kisame's or Orochimaru's odd traits but it could be linked to demons and not only the tailed ones.

For example the Uchiha clan definitely has a secret as the Kyuubi/sasuke confrontation strongly hinted and I don't think it's linked to a bijuu but rather to an other kind of demon (there was a big theory about a crow-like demon).
Zabuza was called a demon and appeared as one to the poor crime boss and was clearly not linked to a Jinchuuriki.
Hidan is linked to Jashin, a weird god/demon.

Thus I'd think that Kisame and Orochimaru aren't descendants of Jinchuurikis but rather linked to demons. There is still a lot to learn about the Narutoverse (and I guess we'll never know all about it) and I hope Kishimoto will give us a few answers!
Naruto, just a random kid who happened to be a passing baby during the Kyuubi crisis.
edit : Naruto, just one of Yondaime's random kids who happened to be a passing baby in his custody during the Kyuubi crisis.

    Re: Jinchuuriki + kids

I think it is true. I mean, bijuus are sealed in way their chakra (life essence) mix with their vessels' chakra. They influence their vessels almost since birth. So their demonic power have to alert jinchuriki's genes. So I think jinchuriki traits are bloodlin limit.
Same goes with non-tailed demons decendants.

that makes sence so naruto will start a clan that has a large chakra deposit

kinda off topic what would happen if two different bloodline limit people had a kid like sasuke and hinata would they have both the sharingan and byakugan

Well, with Kisame and Oro it may just be some sort of genetic mutation, too.
