    Re: Toradora!

This reminds me of Hayate no Gotoku for some reasons... a rich girl, voiced by Rie Kugimiya, unable to do anything by herself, and a nice guy helping her.... It seems it's going more in the romance direction but whatever, I like it for the moment.

PS : 3rd episode out by Aero !

Yeah. It seems so too to me. But, nevertheless, I still like it.

    Thanks for the reminder!

Is this shoujo? Does anyone else still watches it?
The latest episode 16 just makes me tear.. *hugs pillow*
Awww...silly confession in public is the worst if it is not recipocrated. Anyway, I really like this Ryuji character here. He's such a nice guy and being pushed around by Taiga is really a nightmare. I just hope that the 2nd half of this series feature more on Ryuji's feelings instead of Taiga.

It was first light novel, but I don't know if there are any categories for light novel like in mangas.

Weirdly, I am nearly up to date. First, the pitch interested me because there was this guy that was misunderstood as evil because of his look. It reminds me of Angel Densetsu, one of the best mangas I've ever read. Unfortunately, it was not exploited. I did not like the first episodes, because Taiga uncessarily shouts and insults everyone. I skipped one or two episodes.
I tried again and I was pleased with the portrait of young people that struggle to grow up and find answers about love that are difficult (metaphors with UFOs were touching moments). So, I kept watching, but as the story progresses now, there are too much drama, unrequited love etc. It seems too artificial for me, so I may not continue watching.

EDIT: to specify more what I think, this drama, etc. brings the status quo between characters, when I think they have at least to try something (it's youth after all).

    Re: Toradora!

This is one of the many series that I officially don't know about but secretly wait for with much impatience every week. The story is well written and the show is very well animated but what drove it home for me was the characters, few of which were almost repugnant at first, eventually become extremely multi-faceted and lovable from fairly believable developments. Some moments were very tender.
At the risk of sounding like an old man protecting his lawn, I was really surprised at the target audience this aims for...

The anime has only one last episode to go which should come out next week, and I plan on skipping watching the hockey game with the guys.

I'm not sure whether are you still watching it, but the last few episodes are just so touching!! Those moments...ahh..it just gets better, and there are more of Ryuji and Taiga and Minori! Finally! And more is revealed about Ami, who acted like a queen! Anyway, I think being young means you don't know what you really want, or who you really love etc...and this anime clearly reflects the innonence of love in its awkward comic way.

I tried again but with a skip of a few episodes.
    Spoiler show

What I watched did not interest me too much. I don't understand what all these things should be kept secret. Not too sure I will be able to make a last effort, although I want to learn more about Ami that intrigued me. Anyway, even if I drop an anime after just a few episodes, it is rare that I miss the last episode to see how it ends.

I agree with what you said, actually it was one of the ideas in my previous post (sorry, if my English is not good and I was not able to get my idea across), but I still think if they do not know who they love, it is normal for them to try.

I think the anime is well executed, but, since it is mainly a love story, the staff went beyond my patience to support slow-pace development. Even so, I completely understand that some people dig into the story and its pace and it becomes a wonderful experience.

    Re: Toradora!

Well it's over and this series will account for all the mushiness that can peacefully coexist with my manliness. =P

Overall, I think ami is my favorite character, the one who changed the most and in my book, the most likable out of the 5 despite everything about her and the one who made the greatest step becoming a better and more mature person in the end on her own will by getting over her problems, her lifestyle and herself.
And despite the conclusion being foreshadowed by the very title of the manga, novel and anime, I got to admit I didn't see it coming until well into the last 3 episodes.

Okay, time to go catch up on the hockey game... =)
