Yeah, Aristotelian like, though anything that has a tragic connotation to it, something to get you thinking as well. So a more modern plot would do as I said, of course if the manga is more epic the better, a tragic quest or along those lines. It is really hard to find a character done that way though, even manga.

As I was reading through the "most disturbing seinen titles" thread, the author Kago Shintaro was mentioned. I don't know any of his work, but since he was mentioned in that thread, I'm kind of curious now. So I was hoping that someone could recommend one or several manga by him, that I should definitely read???

Kago's manga are not for everyone, more people than not find him highly offensive. If you are interested I recommend starting with Abstraction, a one shot mentioned in the disturbing titles thread. If you enjoy Abstraction try Dance Kremlin Palace. While his manga can be very offensive, Kago has an amazing sense of humor. There is some great, black humor in his manga, particularly Dance Kremlin Palace. I need to read his latest title, Anamorphis, which I have downloaded, but have not had the chance to read.

Be careful with most of his work, the word disturbing perhaps is not the the best way to sum up all that he does, go for the ones with more comedy and satire than the ones that are a bit more darker. But his works you are stepping into the surreal no matter what, so it is kind of pointless. xD

Hmm, everything that is dark, disturbing and weird would have my interest, so I'm excited to get started on Abstraction!

EDIT: (!!!) Just read it, and (OMG) what was that?!?! That was weeeeird!!!!
I actually thought it was a "normal" manga, so I got a bit surprised there
I will have to tjeck out more of his work, that was interesting and so weird at the same time!

You are in uncharted territories now. If you like surreal and weird stuff but a little less disturbing, try Matsunaga, even though he has his fair share of weirdness, he does offer a more humane take with his manga. Paperakyu, Bakune Young, Ryuuguuden, all masterpieces if you ask me.

Damn! You sure picked the manga with one of the best drawn manga out there, the art is so cyberpunky~ I think the character is just so wonderful plus she is god like. I also can not believe there was not thread for it.

wow i' m surprised shamo is still on going. i read it first 5 or 6 years ago. but it became weird when he found his sister, the manga took another direction.

Anyone have a suggestion for a a manga that deals with pregnancy? It is something I rarely bump into when reading manga, and I want to see how it is portrayed, Thanks.

There was one I read about two sisters, the other one (18 years old) recently gave birth and it's a cute manga- but I think I only read one chapter and I'm not sure if it's being scanlated still. I checked it out just now and apparently there are 4 chapters out- but it's been like a year ago since. The title is Digopuri
