Why doesn't Shippuuden use music found in the movies?

I've been wondering about this for a while, and I still don't understand why the Shippuuden anime series doesn't use some of the awesome tracks featured in the movies (mostly the first movie since that's the only one released with subs for now). To whoever thought the music in Shippuuden was bad, please watch the first movie (or at least listen to it's music). It includes both tracks featured in the series and ones that aren't, on top of that each track fits it's respective scene perfectly.

I'd really like to see this track in particular be used in the series (it's my favourite Shippuuden track):

Anyone know why Studio Pierrot doesn't make good use of this music?

They never used the music from the movies, even back in the first series era. Don't know why. But the real question would be why don't they use the first series' musics when they over abuse of the first series' flashback. -_-

    Re: a naruto reference?

Yup you're Probably right because Naruto isn't very well known. It's probably a coincedence.

    Re: a naruto reference?

No, it was intentional. Just a little in-joke by the animators.

    Spoiler: Ben 10/Naruto show

    Re: a naruto reference?

Whoa, why didn't I notice that and I just watched that episode lol.
That's too much of a coincidence, that's definately a reference to Naruto...
...or maybe they just ran out of ideas like someone said.

Re: Help needed with the thumbnails of the DB Naruto Shippuuden episodes !!

it's cause they went over to h.264 for their codec. Windows won't show a thumbnail for it unless it's a standard .avi (well, for the .avi container).

Someone correct me if I'm wrong (or if I'm right, please add to it).

Re: Yondaime meets Naruto in OVA!!!

It's not a OVA, it's a short film than preceded the first Naruto movie (2004) in theatres.

Since I feel cynical today, let's add the director of this movie is the director of the TV series (most of other films' directors aren't in the TV anime staff). This short shows his deep understanding of Naruto's themes and why the manga appeal the readers so much. ¬_¬

Re: Were do the movies fit in?

They don't really fit into the original timelines since they interfere in details. Just watch them when you feel like it and better count them as specials. They're in no way important to know for the manga or the TV series.

The movies are side stories far away from the canon plot and you're better off in not tying them to deeply to the original. The first one makes the most sense right after the tea arc, around ep 100 if I remember correct, and the other two are set after episode 135 but before Shippuden starts, so they're basically part of the fillers since the add really nothing to the story aside from repeating the same cheap jokes over and over.

Every episode from 136-220 is filler material and completely irrelevant to the original story. You can place the second and third movie freely in it as you like. The canon plot ends with episode 135 and continues with episode 1 of Naruto Shippuden. I can only recommend to skip on the crappy episodes between them.

The two Shippuden movies should be relatively close to the beginning of Naruto Shippuden. Probably before anything bigger happens. But I haven't seen neither of them so far, so I can't say for sure.
