Does Manganewsjapon refer to the prints or sales? It only says Nanatsu no Taizai : 3 tomes : 1 000 000 , with only Kimi no Iru Machi : 23 tomes : 4 000 000 Dengeki Daisy : 14 tomes : 1 750 000 as comparison and considering KnIM and Daisy´s moderate success, those numbers seemed rather likely to be true.

Does anyone know how many untranslated chapters of Code:breaker there are? Or is it up to date?

Actually, back in the volume 35 afterword, Mashima specifically addressed fans concerns that Fairy Tail might be ending soon by saying he had at minimum, three more arcs in mind. Here's the relevant portion as translated by ChaosKnight over at the Fairy Tail wikia:

    Quote Quote:
"This arc originally started out as "it's a festival" kind of thing, with the story right now feeling like it’s a compilation of everything up to now. But because it's getting towards a major climax feeling, there has been lots of rumors like "Fairy Tail might be coming to an end". Fairy Tail is not coming to an end yet. While I know that it will end someday, there are at minimum of three arcs I want to do after this. Maybe they'll be around 15-20 volumes? Of course it can end earlier than that, and it might continue beyond that. I have yet to think about how I will end the series."
So yeah, don't expect Fairy Tail to end any time soon. Especially as Fairy Tail is Weekly Shounen Magazine's only series in the top 25 selling manga, much less the top 10. Everything else Kodansha has near that high up runs in different magazines. Plus the author himself estimating 3-4 more years of material at the moment. Note that that is 3-4 more years of material after the then current arc which only just officially ended this week (and won't finish being put in tankobons until volume 40).

This is not true after all. With the newest chapter 37 of Nanatsu no Taizai, there is a notification that over 1 mil copies were sold with the 3 volumes, just like the message of manganewsjapon indicated.

If you can read Kanji then i am not going to argue because it would be baseless but i am referring to this

    Spoiler show

I gather a scanlation group that has been around for so long and has translated so many mangas knows the difference between "printed" and "sold"

it means "The total of the first three volumes, has passed the million." And like always, There is no notification of "sales." As usual when it is a number (except Oricon) it is always "print".

発行部数 = number of copies printed.

How does WSM rank their manga each week? By popularity like WSJ does?
