Yakuza Girl by Masaki Motonaga & Yu-Go Okuma

This is a new series published in Weekly Shonen Magazine. I didn't see this thread anywhere. Sorry if there already was one.

    Spoiler show

    Summary from mangaupdates:
Senguu Fumihiro is a young boy that made a promise to his dying grandmother to find a good wife for himself. With this intention he enrolls in a prestigious school but on the first day his world turns upside down when all the students begin to kill each other and one of them even turns into a monster. He is saved by a girl named "Akari", sent to protect him by one of the factions that rule the school.

It starts off a little slow, but it's getting better. There is quite a bit of ecchi in it. Is there anyone else who likes this manga?

This series is running in Champion Red, not WSM, since February 2008.

Added the mangaka to the title

Is it just me, or did the manga end a bit abruptly?

I mean, so much unresolved, seems like the pace changed in the middle...might just be my American upbringing, but I'm sensing a conspiracy in this...did the author have to cut the series short for some unsaid reason?

That aside, a bit graphic for me. I liked the ecchi at the beginning, but at some point it got a bit disturbing. The thorns and blood, the rapist monster, the blatant rape near the end of the leader girl (don't remember her name) by Ackroyd...I guess some of the more fetishy things aren't for me I guess.

it probably wasnt popular enough so they killed it. it had potential to go much further.
