Naruto's "That Jutsu"

It can't be the Kyuubi's cloak because he would of just stated it instead of saying "that jutsu" its got to be something new(well i hope).

Jutsu means ability/skill/technique/whatever. In this case, the first time "that jutsu" was used would be referring to Naruto's ability to transform into his bijuu. So yes, "that jutsu" would be an appropriate way to keep the Kyuubi cloak hidden since Kishimoto didn't want to reveal the fourth tail transformation just yet. As to the second time "that jutsu" was used, however, it would be referring to an incomplete techique Minato possessed (as was the case with Rasengan).

I'm not expecting additional development on this matter though considering (1) the speed at which Kishimoto is now ending the manga (the "war" is guaranteed to be the last major arc of the series), (2) the ridiculous speed at which Naruto "mastered" Kyuubi, (3) Kishimoto forgoing an explanation on the mechanics of Yin-Yang manipulation, and (4) Kishimoto forgoing Sakura learning Genjutsu.

Jutsu in the manga and Power in the anime.
I think the "Power" transcribe the real advice from Jiraya. Because the only jutsu we know Naruto had that time is Rasengan and Bunshins-like, but maybe Naruto used some Fuin to get some power from Kyubi's Chakra, thus like he controled the Kyubi in the last chapter.

That could mean that it is the key for Naruto to control Kyuubi...that jutsu or that power meaning controlling Kyuubi or whatever jutsu is implied with such control...like Bijuu ball, which is the source of Rasengan...things kinda connect together in a distant plane, but I'd rather wait and speculate further, though..

So I think it's safe to assume (and it is still a bit of an assumption) the "that jutsu" was Naruto's ability to control the nine-tails chakra. That was Ero Sennin's goal from the moment he met Naruto.

I think Jiraya knew that Naruto is a closed range fighter so that jutsu is very powerfull closed range jutsu. Much more powerfull than Bijuu rasen bombs and Dust techniques and so on. The most powerfull demolition technique.
Coz look even FRS was ok for 9 tails, but at the end Naruto is gonna confront 10 tails and there he needs something like an atomic bomb

So IMO, it's an incomplete version of Shiki Fuujin: Since, according to Minato, only one half of the Kyuubi can be in the death god, if Naruto is somehow able to give the other half (which has to be under his control, hence why it's required), then the other would be released, in preference in Naruto's stomach.

Obviously, if Naruto tries to use it without controlling the Kyuubi, he'll die, but most likely he knows the seals required.

Imagine, an unlimited Shiki fuujin... now THAT is broken.

It has to be that. The whole reason Jiraiya was worried, was because as we saw, Naruto had to fight for his life to control the Kyuubi, and if not for his mother he would have failed. I fail to see how there is any other suprise Naruto could have that he hasn't used before.

But controlling the Kyuubi isn't a jutsu, is it? And it's not the Bijuudama because that's a glorified rasengan, and the rasengan Naruto could do wasn't something that harmed Naruto.

The it could be a variation of the technique, because controlling the Kyuubi isn't a jutsu in itself, and if it was the bijuudama, Naruto would've known something about it.

Recently I started to wath Naruto anime[without fillers] again and I'm worried that "this special jutsu" is this stupid black rasengan...because as we know J-man said that Naruto needs to take control over QB if he wants to complete "that jutsu" and i can't think of other thing that would be connected with QB, Naruto and in the same time fourth would work on it in the past... especially after Bee said that Rasengan was propably based on this bijuudama.

But even a variation would still have the same limits as the original, i.e. FRS. Considering Minato was the one who created it, if he didn't think a Jinchuuriki could use it, then there was likely no exceptions. Using the cloak would likely be considered a technique, as it's an enhancement like Ee's cloak. Not just that, but since doing something like using the Sharingan is considered a technique, so something doesn't have to do damage to be a technique.

naruto has this wonderful life chakra that is seemingly without purpose. kakashi, gai, and lee can all use some of the 8 gates. it seems a pretty good fit that naruto has a way to use that jutsu now with his rikudo cloak and opening the 8th gate...after all narutos inheritance from the younger brother was physical energy/body/yang and the only way to be on par with the older brother and his eye techniques was super speed and strength...
