Plz help me with a few phrases I am having trouble with from Psyren Ch 1
Big Middle Panel - 2nd bubble
he appears like smoke... and then wat?
plz explain how "現れてはきえ" this grammar construction works =[
Big Middle Panel - Last line of 3rd bubble
plz read that bubble and explain y is there a "causative passive" construction?
it sounds to me like... "they were forced to report"
４th Panel － End of 1st bubble
I dont get y they used との after 彼ら
Does it mean.. "It appears thats the only way to make contact with them"
Panel 1 - Both bubbles
I dont get how both of them link...
Bubble 1 - サイレンの真実をつきとめた者に
Bubble 2 - 五億円の懸賞金をかける者が現れた
It sounds like...
Bubble 1 － To whoever unlocks the secret of psyren...
Bubble 2 - A person offering an award of 500 million yen has appeared
Panel 3 - 2nd Bubble
Why do they use a に at the place i bolded?
It seems like a は is more appropriate to me =S
もし本物。。。 まだ未使用の（blah blah blah)
I dont get y they say まだ and 未使用 together
To me, まだ already says (have not yet)
and 未使用 says (totally untouched/new etc)
So arent the 2 redundant? and it sounds kinda weird to me.. like a negative x negative = positive situation...
i get the gist of the sentence (you will get 500 million)
but i dont get y they use いく?
drawing on my knowledge of いく's definition, it doesnt make sense...
Just the first sentence..
i have never seen this grammar construction b4... (infinitive + とく)
is it slang or something? plz tell me the full proper sentence
and I dont get the けど part. It sounds like "I would advise u but.."
Edit: 1 More from page 33
wat does this suppose to mean?
A BIG THANKYOU TO THOSE WHO R HELPING ME

I never read Psyren before, but . . . will try to help with some of them then. (since I'm hungry now. Got to go already . . . >_<") Sorry, I can only help with some of them, not all. I'll probably come back to help sometimes later . . . >_<"
Plus, I'm really bad at explaining how language works . . . >_<"
So . . . "he comes and goes like smoke"?
との is just . . . don't know how to explain it, but you got that right . . . just divide it to 彼らと and の . . . Gah! I failed at explaining . . . anyway, at least you got it right already . . . >_<"Quote:
"There is even a person who is willing toQuote:
pay 500 million yens to whomever unveil the truth about Psyren"?
Because the solution to the riddle of Psyren didn't burned out itself . . . it's the people who want those money that got fired up and all motivated to solve the riddle for those money . . . ? At least that's what I think it implies . . . >_>"Quote:
No . . . basically, it's just about "the Teleka that had never been used just yet" It isn't really a double negative thing . . . まだ + Negative = not yet . . . まだ alone can simply just mean "still" . . . doesn't have to be negative . . . >_<"Quote:
So . . . "If we really . . . find a Teleka that had never yet been used before . . . "?
