Thumbs Up Road To 2002 Roads 47-48 Discussion/Roads 49-50 Predictions

since no one made this thread this week, so I'll jsut make this thread.

about the chapters ,it was clear for me that schneider will score against genzo after all these attacks ,but now i am wondering how genzo will stop that shot if he face it again, in my opinion he won't be able to stop that ball ,and schneider will scoar again.

about the other match ,i can't belive that rivaul was defeated like that ,and wondering what is the name of his shot ? it looked like a banana shot ..

They just have to mark them even tighter especially Schneider. It is as they said, the best keeper in the universe wouldn't have stopped that.

ya ,but if we can say that kaltz can mark schneider,i don't think the other players can't do that to sho or levin.

    Bayern - Hamburger

Nice goal, yet one that won't happen again. Two very sound reasons:
    1. We've already seen it, so Takahashi won't do it
    2. I think Kaltz will now stick to Schneider until the end of the game and won't allow him the space to do this.

I also think Schneider will score another, but it won't be like this. Perhaps he could use technique this time? Also, very pleased with the goal. I expected something similar, yet not that powerful. Turns out Sho's Counter Shot (I just can't remember it's actual name) did work on the Levin Shot, even if it was just for a deflection. Although I wouldn't be surprised if Sho has suffered some kind of injury by redirecting the Levin Shot and wouldn't be able to play at a 100% by the end of the game. This would really leave it all up to Schneider to decide the game.

    Valencia - Barcelona

Now this I liked! I was almost certain Barca would win it, even if it was against Santana's team, just to show how great Rivaul is, so Tsubasa surpassing him at some point would make him look incredibly impressive. With this win and more or less single-handedly Carlos beating Barca, he still retains his superplayer status in the manga world. Had he lost, all those World Youth superlatives he received would've been discarded like it has happened to so many other characters.

That again, with this injury, guess who will likely take advantage ...

Overall, one of the best chapters since the start of the Road

    Re: Road To 2002 Roads 47-48 Discussion/Roads 49-50 Predictions

Well, Shinji said that Sho must hit the ball in a certain way to repel the Levin shot just like Genzo catched it in a certain way. Did he mean that it will be a pass? like if they tried it before and it made a super pass and Schneider trained to shoot at it?

So..Rivaul finally took what he deserves because of playing dirty with strong opponents like Tsubasa and Madrid's captain..Santana showed him how bad it feels

I really wish there were more counters from Sho..

    @ chaos_master
I'm not really sure if you actually touched the Levin Shot you'll get hurt definitely. I guess it depends on the individuals. Wakabayashi proved he now can take on that shot, instead of punching it away.

Sho is a master of counter shots (well personal opinion). To be able to use his special counter shoot, he needs to have strong legs and the right techniques to be able to do it all the time, just as Wakabayashi needs stronger arms and techniques to stop the Levin Shot. I think for Sho, he is at the level where he can do it a few times without getting injured.

Grin Re: Road To 2002 Roads 47-48 Discussion/Roads 49-50 Predictions

if i were takashi , i will make schneider back to the middle of the field .where he will be free (of course kaltz won't make the same mistke again & he won't follow him) ,then aim for the goal wz his strongst shot to the right side of the goal to take Genzo's attention then levin will face it & shoot his shot changing the direction to the left side of the goal (of course this not the end )where sho is wating for the ball (inside the penalty area) to counter it ,that 's lead us to 2 options :
    1- sho will scoar .
2-genzo will able to change his direction and will punch it ,then levin will take the ball and scoar.

Rivaul getting injured would mean most likely Santana would get another goal. But this paves the way for Tsubasa to be injected into the first team without any hassle. Its surely shaping up that way.

Wondering when we will see more of hyuga though.

    Re: Road To 2002 Roads 47-48 Discussion/Roads 49-50 Predictions

    Hamburg vs Bayern:
Levin may know different degree of his shoot and for creating a pass he may lower the force of his shoot for Sho to intercept or even pass to anyone.

If Kaltz mark Schneider after this incident, I do believe (other than Schneider himself shooting) either Sho and Levin able to score by doing a sudden 1-2 combo in front of the goals. E.g.: Levin Pass --> Sho counter pass --> Levin Shoot. (or other technique)

    Valencia vs Barca:
Well, Takahashi doing it again. He just want to show that Tsubasa are badly needed for team Barca (even though he has not completed his task). And if Tsubasa really are going to the team, then it shows that Barca doesn't have the depth of quality players for Top Shitta position.

Also, clearly once again Santana are shown as a damn robot to be able to recover and running like crazy after that collision and dropping to the ground. Even Rivaul got injured (or crammed back - well, the diagnosis will be after the game) and suffer. Hopefully Takahashi doesn't make rash decision for making Rivaul unable to play anymore.

From what I've seen, the shoot tha Rivaul just did is like Roberto Carlos out-swinging shoot. Shooting the other way, and the ball curving the same way but the starting position is the other way round.

I don't think Santana is a robot now, he's even worse He has the heart to give a gift to his mother's birthday, and Rivaul already used the dirty elbow on strong opponents, and he's not a robot. The whole robot thing is over in Brazil.

    Re: Road To 2002 Roads 47-48 Discussion/Roads 49-50 Predictions

Santana's not a robot, and Rivaul wasn't defeated, he was a cushion for Santana while Rivaul landed on the ground with Santana crashing on him on top of that.
The shoot was just a regular free kick, just like Tsubasa did in his match before.

Nobody mentioning Santana changing the course of the shoot with his hair?

In my opinion, Sho was able to handle the killing rotation effect by kicking the ball to the side, just like Wakabayashi was punching it on the side. This way he avoids the nasty effects of the Levin Shoot's rotation. That would have been another matter if he kicked it towards the goal on the same position.

Also, most people are talking about ways to score for Schneider, Levin Sho and Bayern... I'm quite surprised because this goal should most likely have an effect on Hamburg, not Bayern. Will they change their tactic, or will they try to score with Kaltz overlaping again, thus letting Schneider open, or will they tighten the defense and wait for a counter opportunity... Hamburg scored once, they should be able to score again as well.

I'm not only talking about fancy ways of scoring, but mostly what will be their tactics now that they aren't leading anymore, you don't need to know their abilities for that.

But if you want to talk about players you know and their abilities, then you know kaltz, you know Wakabayashi, and you know how they scored.

yes i know their abilities but i dont think kaltz have any special shoots ,and genzo have only the top spin pass to attack, and i don't think hamborg will let them do that again ,and one other thing i gust remembered know ,that genzo can attack too like what he did along time ago .....maybe he can scoar him self.
