I think the important thing in this episode was the part where Aizen is spying. In the manga, it was unclear whether or not the cloak he was hiding behind was his Zanpaktou or a Kido. It looks pretty apparent that it was his Zanpaktou ability, and Shinji broke through it.

This might prove key in the future plot against Aizen.

Perhaps it's just because of Youtube, but the video has that weird old looking quality to it. It creates an interesting feeling that I kind of enjoy. And the animation was very nice.

Also, I'm having a hard time seeing how that cloaking thing shows that it was Aizen's zanpakutou's ability. I see that it disappears into his hands behind his back, and since he doesn't have his sword, I want to think it's a kido ability.

edit: Actually, now I'm pretty sure that the old looking feel was the choice of the animators.

Well that feeling you got may just be the quality from the clip that is streaming. Wait until the better ones or sub comes out to hold judgment.
Anyway this was another good episode, continuing from last week it was fun to watch. All the commotion Hiyori was making throughout the episode was pretty amusing. The best half for me at least was when Shinji caught Aizen spying on his conversation with Urahara.

Aizen: How long did you know I was here?

Shiji: Since you were in your mother's womb.

That was price-less , a thing to note, I'm only paraphrasing from the raw which I don't recall to well at the moment.

I also liked the part when Shinji caught Aizen spying on Urahara. Shinji is on to your crap Aizen!! I'm loving this Pendulum Arc so far.

Loved this episode. Classic Hiyori all the way through, and for once the filler material doesn't suck. Not bad at all. I still wonder how long this arc is gonna last, though. TBTP was only about ten chapters if I remember, so is this gonna be a 10 episode arc?

Awesome episode. Shinji and Urahara are total badass. I'm loving this arc so far, which is great. Because i think there may be another TBTP arc in the manga soon.

Still, not looking forward to the filler arcs that are rapidly approaching.

Great episode, i like Hiyori beating up shinji and kisuke whenever she gets the opportunity to put her feet on their faces. I like the way kisuke is taming that wild child.
We also see more of shinji's personality, he's caring, intelligent , and really funny.
He's becoming one of my favorite .
I wonder who's is going to fight aizen , shinji or kisuke, both men having scores to settle with aizen .

Very nice episode; although I didn't quite like some of the animating and style. At times things seemed quite off, especially Hiyori's animation although there were some good laughs to be had.

I just wish Anime like Bleach could concentrate some on animation and art style. In the end when you buy the Anime on disc the quality will be the same random quality from episode to episode that they usually have. Would be much more worth it if the animation and artwork were good every episode.

it went from chapter -108 to -97 so its 12 episodes im hoping they add more filler to give it more time for the manga to progress

Actually, the animators only covered chapter -107 in this episode. So, it seems that they are trying to do one chapter per episode. Doing so already takes a fair amount of filler to stretch the content of one chapter to fit episode. That seems like reasonable amount of filler for me for this arc, but I am expecting another AU filler arc the past mini-arc is done.

yup....most of the episode was just about Hiyori slapping around Kisuke.......and the next episode might as well be all about the maggots nest.....they are dragging it a bit too much.....but in the other end..is kinda nice to see it...it's funny....
