One Piece Volume Cover thread! (Latest: Vol. 69)

Shirahoshi is on the cover because Robin finds out that she's something pretty important to the OP world. And basically, with the departure from FMI, why not? We won't see her anytime soon, and Vivi (who shares a similar promise from the Strawhats like Shirahoshi) was on also on the cover of her final volume...

It's just that we've already had her on a cover and she's so huge that she takes up most of the cover again.Then again,I was never a fan of hers to begin with,so I guess I'm kinda biased.

Repeating her being to big twice in a row, that's not "kinda" biased. She was even cut off of the bottom part of the picture.

Shirahoshi was the central point of the volume with Punk Hazard only appearing at the end. The cover shows the successful of the war, the bond between Jinbe and Luffy and teases Smoker/Tashigi, BigMams crew members.

edit: Sure it's a bit cramped there, but for me this compostition is better, since both "bad" parties stay in contrast to each other and to the middle.

I don't like it,to be honest. I think it's due to how rufy,smoker,tashigi and tamago are put. smoker should have been on the opposite side of rufy or of tashigi,but not of tamago. bah,jinbe is nice,at least that

Is this a real cover? 'Cause on Shonen Jump's site says that volume 66 it's scheduled for May, and don't put any image of the said cover.

I love that Tamago and Pekoms got featured (I really loved these two despite the short panel time). And Smoker looks awesome too, but still I don't really like the cover. Shirahoshi just eats so much space again and steals the first attention too much, while in my eye the main should be on Luffy and Jinbei.

Also Tamago pink just next to Shirahoshi pink is kinda... weird.

Oh, I'm surprised, thought that Monet had blonde hair instead of light green, and I had imagined Caesar's color as purple or violet, but never orange.

I like the goofy to serious transition as you go further back into the cover; from Sanmi flashing and Frapper to how serious Smoker and Tashigi look. Then Caesar sort of hidden in the background. Also thought his gas would be another colour.
