One Piece Volume Cover thread! (Latest: Vol. 69)

Hmmm... I absolutely love the Bleach covers.
I would say One Piece comes second since I own the Marineford Volume and the inking looks fantastic in comparison to my Naruto volumes.
Although some can be bland, I think the simplism in the cover is nice and just keeps the story vague.
Granted many people may not want such a vague cover lol.

Oda has gotten a little repetitive with covers as it is always Luffy with just current rivals/enemies/allies. And Luffy taking a stance somewhere main in the picture.
Also, the detail in the characer's face when drawn is always extremely high with Kubo.
Its not like we get extremely detailed facial color close-ups from Oda. So I wouldn't say Bleach's covers are boring.

I think Bakuman have the best in terms of art but whatever.

this chapter should be the last on of volume 70,though it may contain one chapter more. I predict that the next cover will have doflamingo,law,rufy,franky,nami&usop, buffalo&baby5

It's mostly personal preference, neither of the manga's have boring covers per-say, people just tend to prefer different things so naturally you can't really say objectively which one is better. I personally prefer Oda's covers, my favorites have to be volume 58, Volume 68 & Volume 65, mainly because of the combination of colors and characters and the general layout of the covers.

You are asking redon, why he put his name on there? oO And yes of course he will have the orignial HQ, but that would compromise the very reason of watermarking it.^^ Here is another version from pirateboard.net though.

I own that volume amongst others. I agree its my fav Oda volume cover too.
