Yeah, I generally agree. I don't know if he would want to have US scenes like that though, given that he was pretty thorough so far. That's why, if we get US scenes in Japanese, I feel like Ryoga's inability to speak English well will be used as explanation.
As far as I know it's based on his name. Which doesn't really hold up when you then look at his first name because Liliadent isn't German and doesn't even sound German, and in my opinion the existence of Lucas Siebold actually makes it pretty unlikely for Krauser to be German. I'd sooner bet on him being Norwegian, Swiss or Australian or something.
Do 10.5 ever state his nationality? Like how it say Duke is half?
I just did some reading and fans have been basing his German nationality because his seiyu is originally from Germany. Don't know if that's a legitimate reason for their assumption though.
Well, there's always a chance that we'll get to see the Nagoya foreigners again and we'll get to learn. I mean, after all, Krauser just decided to stay in Japan and he's eligible to compete for Japan, so, based on that evidence, as long as you're residing in a country, you can play for that country.
Oh yeah....Krauser is Kakihara Tetsuya..feels like a waste that he's on a "fodder" character .
SO, USA, i honestly thought Ryoma's talent would have the make an exception...but they opted to ostracize potentially the next Nanjiroh Echizen. And now they'll regret it. Yukimura joining the US team so Sanada gets a crack at him again would be interesting.
