Yeah, I generally agree. I don't know if he would want to have US scenes like that though, given that he was pretty thorough so far. That's why, if we get US scenes in Japanese, I feel like Ryoga's inability to speak English well will be used as explanation.
As far as I know it's based on his name. Which doesn't really hold up when you then look at his first name because Liliadent isn't German and doesn't even sound German, and in my opinion the existence of Lucas Siebold actually makes it pretty unlikely for Krauser to be German. I'd sooner bet on him being Norwegian, Swiss or Australian or something.
Do 10.5 ever state his nationality? Like how it say Duke is half?
I just did some reading and fans have been basing his German nationality because his seiyu is originally from Germany. Don't know if that's a legitimate reason for their assumption though.
Well, there's always a chance that we'll get to see the Nagoya foreigners again and we'll get to learn. I mean, after all, Krauser just decided to stay in Japan and he's eligible to compete for Japan, so, based on that evidence, as long as you're residing in a country, you can play for that country.
Oh yeah....Krauser is Kakihara Tetsuya..feels like a waste that he's on a "fodder" character .
SO, USA, i honestly thought Ryoma's talent would have the make an exception...but they opted to ostracize potentially the next Nanjiroh Echizen. And now they'll regret it. Yukimura joining the US team so Sanada gets a crack at him again would be interesting.

We've got some spoilers. There will be two chapters this month.
-Byoudouin and Oni meet in an elevator and get into an argument about whose training methods are superior
-When they get out, Byoudouin shows Oni a huge scar on his back that he apparently got abroad to support his claim that kindness is a weakness
-Tohno is rehabilitating and Byoudouin tells Oni to give Tohno back the No. 8 badge
-There is a list of the new 1st String, consisting of all the original G10 members with Tokugawa being listed as No. 4 and Irie as No. 11 (No. 12-20 aren't shown)
-Mifune arrives at the camp and is revealed to be the head coach
-Apparently there is a special MSer division in the WC
-Mifune announces the selected MSers
-Atobe is the team captain
-The other chosen MSers are: Yukimura, Shiraishi, Sanada, Akutsu, Tooyama, Marui, Fuji, Niou, Ishida, Oishi, Kite, Kirihara
-Niou's arm is still in a sling
-Apparently Ryoma also got chosen, but he and Ryoga already arrived in the USA
-Ryoma meets three members of the American team, the team captain, Ralph Reinhardt, as well as Kiko Valentine (a 1st year) and Dudu Obandu
Wow...Mifune was head coach...hahahaha. Ryoma left prematurely, the MSers are not written off. Some interesting developments but odd ones. Atobe was robbed.
Oishi without Eiji. Don't break my heart more than it is already after Bleach.
At least, Fuji was picked. Although he hasn't played... How come????
If Ryoma and Yukimura don't join the team, who will get in their places?
Please, be Eiji, pweeese!!1

At least Kirihara is in.
I love the fact that Atobe is still the main character tho, I'm glad Konomi didn't forget about it

Wait Mifune is the head coach? How... Why did he seem to have a vendetta against the people in the camp then?
Maybe he's head coach but hate how the camp developed? There's definitely an elitist vibe from the camp.
