"New" Naruto series "Naruto ~Shounen Hen~" will begin next week (Wednesdays & Thurdays at 5:30pm). It's Naruto just second rerun.

It will have different OP&ED than original rerun and first airing. Might have other stuff too.

Assuming there's new OP&ED animation it's possible money used on this might have had use in Shippuden budget.(Assuming they change them every so often)

actually, let's hope that they do a remake of shippuden after they're done with no fillers and better animation. and a faster pace. wow, first a remake of DBZ, and now a remake of naruto; what else could be better than this (proving it turns out to be good, that is)?

I mean half the animation of Shippuden sucks. Look at any Bleach episode really (especially from these recent Pendulum and Hueco Mundo arcs) and then take a look at almost any Shippuden episode and then tell me that Naruto's animation is good; because it's not good at all. There are a few episodes that are alright, but the majority of the episodes suck. But at least now we know where all their budget went too...

This isn't really milking the cow as many people wanted a remake of the show anyway; this is just demand and supply (yes, i know what i said) and, even though things like these never happen, it's probably a very good thing that it is if they continue to remake Shippuden when the time comes.

This is a remake of Part 1, not Part 2. They'll probably redo Part 2 afterwards, anyway, but by that point (in about 2 years maybe), the manga will be completed so...

Wait a second. Is this a remake (as in FMA: Brotherhood), or is this a re-run (as in just showing the show again from the beginning, but with a new intro/outro)? If they cut out filler, then it'll be like Dragon Ball Kai.

I can't find any info on this at all, especially since those links are either dead or don't work as-is. Any info is greatly appreciated (especially if it's a remake...HD Naruto, anyone?).

FMA: Brootherhood isn't a remake of the 1st series. It's the original series according to the manga.

The 1st series had nothing to do with this FMA.

And even though DBK has pratically the same scenes as DBZ, we can clearly see, @ least those that watch it in HD preferably on a FullHD LCD, that there are new and improved scenes. Nothing like the OP and ED but still new.

I'm pretty sure that it's a remake (like with new animation and redone scenes with redone voice-overs). But it's not exactly clear with the above information and with those pages being entirely in Japanese with no clear links to the designated pages.

Um, they aren't remaking DBZ. Anyone who thinks Dragonball Kai is a remake does not deserve to be disappointed. No one ever said they would redo it. All they said is that they would re-air it, shortened.

And the new FMA is amaizing. If you dont like it... what do you like?
