It definitely had an interesting start. The character designs have that obvious Takahashi feel to them, but everything feels pretty unique right now.
It looks like it should be a nice mix of things, so I'm interested in what direction she takes the series.
Anyways, I really enjoyed the first chapter. I loled each time Rinne asked for money for the ghosts' passages. The way he thought approximately 50¢ and $5 u.s. were absurd amounts of money was too funny.
I'm quite interested to know which direction this series will go. I hope it stays on a less serious note than Inuyasha.
Seems I can't read the manga on the official site Is this some kind of region block?
Chapter 1-4 scanlations by badam and I eat manga are out in English.

So, ¿which way do you think this series will go? It's been real fun, and I thank Takahashi that she hasn't yet dealt with romantic issues, though if she didn't that wouldn't feel much Takahashi.
But we need a real story now.
Sorry for the bumping, but I need to ask.
¿Why does the people dislike KNR so much?
It's not a outstanding story, it hasn't yet get a main point to follow, but as it goes it's pretty fun.
I'm not a Takahashitard, though I could be, Ranma is a treasure of mine and Inuyasha... well, it's the black sheep of hers.

I think it could be the manga is just a unknown right now that is still trying to find a fanbase.(Outside of Japan)
The other theory is that people are still butthurt that Inuyasha was dragged out for so long.

Could be perhaps that people already know where to get an English version, since it is released on the authors English web site at the same time it is released in Shounen Sunday?
No i think, ppl gave up on KNR even before they read the 1st chapter because Inuyasha's horror still lingering on their mind. I didn't care much about Inu since i already fell in love with her works since Ranma 1/2 (and i watch Urusei Yatsura anime too) i believe in her ability to create a good manga.
I read up to ch 13. So far the story is about Rinne helps lingering ghost to go to after life. There are still many room for plot. Meanwhile i'll continue read it weekly or bi weekly.
The story is very young and we don't know where the story is going but so far I have enjoyed reading the chapters. The less action and more humor approach is what I like about this series. The consent gag with money involving Rokudo is priceless, and Rokumon is the cutest cat/boy in any manga I've read. I have found myself looking forward to every Wednesday when the newest chapter gets released online. We get color pages for chapter 24 too.
