characters will have a late set of moves as their health goes down. i watched a vid of gaara and deidara. when gaara's late moves were activated his health bar turned orange. he no longer took chip damage(from shurikens and what have you), and could block super jutsus as well. he could also do an attack jutsu from a blocking stance. i can't wait to see what everyone elses late jutsus are. this is exciting, especially from a tournament/online standpoint. they really seem to be adding in significant game modifications.
this game is really good. the story mode is crap, but the gameplay mechanics are solid. they really added a ton of stuff this time around. the last boss is deidara and he took me around 20 minutes to beat. you can't combo him and he is insanely powerful. so good luck with that! i hear online is smooth from the players, but ign said it lagged. i haven't tried it myself but i can't wait. if anybody finds a faq, please post it. and in order to do missions you have to buy the list in the shop. 100000 ryo for rev2 data.
Can you change the sound options to Japanese voices?
you can pretty much buy everyone/thing in the shop. in order to buy bando you need to get hokage rankings on at least two missions with everyone, and buy out everything in the shop. after getting two hokage ranks with bando, replay kakashi's S rank mission vs. guy. it will be anbu kakashi. beat him and this will let you buy anbu kakashi. the easiest way to get chunnin or higher against guy/anbu kakashi is down+A, followed by a mangekyou special.

If you're saying that Revolution 3 is crap, I am curious of your intake on Revolution 2.
For a Shippuden game, it went above and beyond. They didn't HAVE to include Hidan and Kakazu but they surely did. They didn't HAVE to give Kakashi a hell of a lot of special jutsu. They didn't have to include so many stages in. OK, so Naruto games aren't the best in the world. Regardless, this is better than any of the other Naruto Clash of Ninja games released in America.
