it was a great of a backstab from Denver, since he could go wherever he wanted las OS and choose to stay...

Nate got fired too and D12 drama ended in nothing

Fisher and Walton got trades, my favorite Lakers.. /sad
a I was expecting Beasley, bu in the end they got Jordan Hill(bust) and Sessions.

it was a so so deadline, Bugut for Ellis, Jackson for Jefferson... nene and G Wall

how can this thread be dead when the playoffs start?
    share your thoughts guys.

i'm rooting for the heat and the clippers
the east conference ain't really interesting now that the Bulls lost Rose. Everybody now the Heat are going to the final.

the west is way more interesting: Mavs, Lakers, Clippers, Thunder,Grizzlies
thought with the 3-0 start, there is no coming back for the Mavs. but we never know

The first round is kind of boring this year, my team only won 20 games, Derrick Rose is out, and to many shit teams made the play-offs. Once the second round starts I'll watch more games.

With the Wizards out I'm rooting for OKC. Durant played high school ball a block away from work, I got to root for him. I can't stand the Heat, I'm rooting for another humiliating loss in the finals. Durant - Westbrook - Hardin, easily the best trio in this years play-off. Normally I like the Lakers but I can't stand this years team, was glad to see them lose big Friday night.

    Re: The NBA Thread

Clippers have no chance against the Spurs, if they finish the Grizzlies they'll lost in five... I'm surprised with their 3-2 lead. Memphis is having a lot trouble scoring in the second half and the answer is very simple, they just need to use their superior frontcourt and pound the ball inside.
Anyway, I'm really disappointed with the Lakers. I'm used to Kobe's shooting woes, but their defense is hurting my eyes. They can't stop a single drible penetration, I mean... I expect Sessions to be beat everytime and I can live with it, but the bigs weren't challenging a single shoot. You can't win games like that.. and Bynum attitude kind of pisses me of too.

Out of the west it will be the Thunder or the Spurs, in the east it will be Miami. The Bulls can't pull it off without Rose(I'm not sure if they can pull back and win this series) and the only other team that is worth mention is the Celtics, but only beaceus they're the old grit and grind team that gives trouble to everyone. The Pacers are too green and 76ers has too many flaws.

lol i wouldn't say shit teams xD. making it to the playoffs is not an easy feat. For the first round Clippers- Grizzlies was interesting. i was hoping Dallas will give a hard time to OKC but it didn't happens. u sure rooting for a strong team. with the Bull off, and the Heat without Bosh. i gotta say the biggest obstacle for OKC are the Spurs.

    the Lakers are going down

anyway i'm still rooting for the Clippers
Also i hope no one will get injured in the Spurs/Lakers/Clippers and OKC. the east conf look like shit now without the Bulls and the Heat weakened.

btw been reading that article about Blake Griffin, it really made me laugh http://www.nba.com/2012/news/feature...fin/index.html

    Quote Quote:
"Nobody is giving me time to develop," Griffin said after his 15-point, nine-rebound performance in the opener. "I have years to improve, but for some reason everyone talks about what I can't do."
That, of course, is what happens when you set yourself up smack in the middle of the spotlight by leaping over the hood of a car to win the All-Star Weekend Slam Dunk Contest as a rookie and then becoming a ubiquitous national pitchman on TV.

Wonder how hot the griddle of expectation can get, Blake? Just ask LeBron James, who has only been trying to live up to that "Chosen One" cover of Sports Illustrated for a decade.
the part with Lebron James really made my day, i was really hoping he would get a ring this year

There are shit teams in the playoffs every year, it's unavoidable when 16 out of the 30 teams get in. It's the easiest path to the playoffs among the major sports, it's not even close. Way too many teams get in, it goes on forever.

---------- Post added at 05:15 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:00 AM ----------

lulz the lakers lost again (problem moa ) . It's inevitable the west final gonna be Spurs - OKC. I gonna root for OKC in the west, as it as now there is no way the Clippers gonna beat the Spurs. I hope they improve for the next year

I told you that the Spurs would sweep the Clippers haha
Well OKC will probably finish the series today, it was expect, but the sad par it that the Lakers blowed 2 close games... it could be easily be a 3-1 Lakers right now. It would be much more easier for me if they just got outplayed and lost by 10+ points!

Indiana is giving Miami some trouble, but they fucked up last game and the series is even now. I don't think they can steal another game in miami

lol yeah the Spurs are too good for the Clippers this year
for the Lakers they put up a good fight, no luck xD

game 3 was awful, wade played like a beginner. but after yesterday game i got my hopes up. wade and James can be an awesome duo when they're at it. they scored 70pts and gave a good spectacle. if they keep playing like that, even without Bosh they might do it.

btw what do u think about Shane Battier? i think he's fcking useless

Yes, but the reason is very simple: money.
    More teams in the postseason menas more games and more games means more money;

What reallt bothers me is east.. I've been following NBA for 10+ years and almost every year the east is weaken, like the 10th team in the west being better than the 7th in the east.
They should fix this with the better 16 are in, regardless of the conference they are from

---------- Post added at 08:00 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:56 PM ----------

I love Battier... but he's old now and lost a step.
If he can't play a good defense and hit the open shots he shold be benched, it's this simple. The problem is that Miami's really a weak team outsid of the big three. Has lem and Chalmers will give them some good games from time to time, but Miller, Battier, Anthony, Jones have all been awful.

i do like the rookie, Norris Cole. He's fearless when he got the ball but he doesn't get much play time.

Well of course that's why. I didn't say there wasn't a reason, but it's not like that reason doesn't harm the product. I think it does.

This year I believe every team in the East that got in at least had a winning record. That's a rarity

    Re: The NBA Thread

hahah, yes, it's... but 10 games before the season ended the 11th team in the west would be the 6th in the east! It was terrible! But then some teams started to tank and the Knicks/76ers picked it up.

82 games a season harm the product too, but they if the money is coming they don't care

I like the Spurs team a lot and I love Ginobili, Duncan, Popovich...
But I still hate them from the 3 peat era! hahaha
and if they win, Duncan will get his 5th championship too!
I think they are the best team, but I'll be rooting for Derek Fisher!
