Because you couldn't possibly expect them to top the standings, unless you wear Tommy glasses

The real breakout has been happening in the Oakland so far. Golden State has won 11 road games and matched their total wins at road for the last season already.

In other news I'm still slightly shocked Avery got fired...
As a much more talent-loaded team than the Celtics, the Nets were expected to be better, although I knew there was going to be some growing pains, too.
Kind of an overreaction, in my opinion.
The Celtics never win the interior battles. They get pushed around in the paint, fail to grab any boards, and prevent second chance points. However, they always found a way to win despite their chronic problems.
Avery Johnson just isn't a good coach. He owe his last and the next job to Dirk, that much is simple
anyway, I didn't expect much from the Nets neither.
Deron is playing bad and with a bad attitude for almost 3 yeras now.
Gerald Wallace always relied on his athleticism and now he's not that young anymore
Lopez and Humphries must be the worst help defense bigs on the NBA... they just don't mesh well
I don't like them very much

And finally a Lakers game where Kobe played on the low thirties... if what D'Antoni keeps playing him on the 40s, this team will have no legs on the playoffs
^It will no longer be called Laker town if that happens I see the Clippers going to the conference finals this year IF they can remain healthy.

It's always excuses with Kobe. This guy never blames himself whenever the Lakers struggle mightily.
lol kobe is too arrogant to blame himself
If I averaged 30.3 ppg on 47% shooting and we were below .500, I would slap them in the face. Since he doesn't do that, Kobe is a nice guy.
Or maybe in the locker room..
but he's not wrong, the team has no legs to play proper defense, himself included. The youngster, the almighty D12 is moving like a old man since his surgery.
Chicago Bulls defeated the Miami Heat in their home court
The bigger news revolves around Royce White as of now. The guy refused to go down the D-League, and got suspended.
There is a chance that he will never play in an NBA game, which would be said, since he was said to be a versatile player in college and the expectations from him were rather high.
I'll one up you.
Key Laker players out indefinitely
Since when Dwight Howard is a key player
Lakers have one key player, and it's Kobe
