Meaning we may see young Kirihara...that should be interesting

Overall the Hyotei one was much better

idk, im not to worried about that, i just want to see young Rikkai
i meant it in the whole rikkai team, but just seeing how Kirihara's aim to beat the three rikkai demon started will be cool
i can't imagine how young rikkai were, i was surprised with Hyotei in the OVA, think of Jackal with hair XD
Well according to the opening they already have their second year massive growth spurt, Kirihara looks tiny but the others look huge
HAHAHAHAHAHA that made me laugh out loud.
Also, Ryoga has balls of steel.
I'm a Ryoga fan, so I hope he appears more.
Is there any chance of him becoming a Canon Immigrant?

I liked the Hyoutei ep very much. Good animation, interesting story. Im looking forward for the Rikkaidai ep too and hop that more teams are shown that way.
The other episode was--- well, it was supposed to be funny, but it just isnt... it was just gay. Nice to see Ryoga but thats about it.
btw. I somehow hope that they will animate the Nationals one year ago and show how Seigaku lost or how Rikkai won the final against Hyoutei(?).
Rikkai didn't beat hyotei in the final it was Makinofuji Gakuin
No, Rikkai beat Hyoutei in the finals of the Kantou Tournament, where Atobe supposedly got crushed by Sanada's Zan. Would be interesting.
And I dont understand Japanese, does Chitose really cheat? Or is it that he uses his Pinnacle of Wisdom?
I laughed so hard when Shiraishi got owned by the wall.
I uploaded the subbed version i found to megaupload

I have a couple of problems with the Atobe episode. Some of the information I think I remember might be skewed, but I think that a few things in the episode are against cannon. The first thing is, I think I remember reading something about Atobe crushing Seigaku's captain, and then Tezuka returned the favor by crushing Hyotei's captain. If that's the case, shouldn't Atobe be the captain? This OVA suggests that he became captain the very first day of being in the tennis club... so what?
Also, the one thing that stood out the most. Hametsu he no Rondo. First of all, it didn't start with a smash but I think a backhand. Don't really remember, saw it yesterday. Anyways, that's not the important part. The OVA lets us assume since he had it named, he'd been working on that move. However, chapter 148 shows that he invented the move sometime in their second year, not first. Although the chapter's explanation of the history of that move is in the perspective of Rikkai, I think that with Hyoutei being a top team, they would've been scouted well enough for people to know of Atobe's finishing move.
Don't take it too seriously it was just for fun
This is their First year though, the whole captain beating thing was second yet.
There's no way of knowing when he made Hametsu e No rondo, but either way the OVA takes liberties..i mean Oshitari had Higuma Otoshi already.
The OVA just made me want a Prince of Tennis Hyotei spin-off. Atobe and co are awesome. Too awesome.
....Am I the only one who suddenly thinks Seigaku is kind of boring?
And that Fudomine should have Rocky's theme song as their theme song?
And in a rather offtopic note, I played a match against a friend today. That bastard must be Niou in some kind of alternative universe.
He twisted his ankle. I thought "great, so if I aim all shots on that side..."
Turns out though, he DIDN'T twist his ankle. He PRETENDED to twist his ankle so that I would aim all shots on only one side.
Then he talked to his partner(it was a doubles match) about my partner's habit when hitting a ball.
The thing is, he didn't have a habit. He counted on me overhearing that, telling my partner about it, and my partner subconsciously doing the exact opposite of that.
He basically won because he and his partner, although much worse than me and my partner, just outsmarted us. Damn. Sorry, I just had to complain about that to someone.
