I'm liking Zenkichi's plot with the Dark Hero Kid and all the stuff about battling Medaka, but Kumagawa and that silly smile saying "I don't know" stole the chapter. Kumagawa always steals the chapter, but it seems Mukanata lost to Kumagawa once in a previous fight huh!

Kumagawa definitely is the strongest point of the series right now and by far the most popular character (no surprise, he's just awesome ). I like this plot twist as well, looks like it's the potential last Arc, with three factions going to fight. I doubt that Anshin'in's plan will go as she planned but Medaka Box is so unpredictable, everything could happen

Remember? It happened at the end of the 13 party arc when Kumagawa first appeared. He defeated the plus 6 and the defeated team.

On an unrelated note, Kumagawa's line at the end of this chapter was his first line when he first appeared after they realized he's the one who beat everyone.

The irony towards jumps is really awesome! XD
Mulanata saying he is not coward because he does what he does for his friends, and Kumagawa saying he will laugh at mukanatas friendship... And everything else obviously!

Medaka Box reached the lofty spot of 4th place in the magazine this week. Breaking the top 5 is a huge deal for any series, especially when your first two years saw you in the bottom more often than not. It placed over Bleach, which used to be considered a permanent fixture of the top 3! I wouldn't be surprised if this chapter ranked just as high. If Kumagawa actually dies I could even see it getting the top spot.

Unless this foreshadows something about Kikaijima's true identity. And it's weird but I've had the feeling Wanizuka and Munakata are somewhat related. I'm afraid that this arc might be the last (really hope not yet)...

My guess he regained it simply because he died. Kumagawa is the type of person who looses so stylish that the others victory looses it's meaning to them. Imagine the humilation of a killer, who lost his will to kill, never having killed anyone. Thats a perfect way to break someone.


I hope the show wont end before the anime is released....

Do we have to keep discussing this in spoilers? The chapter has been out for a few days now in English.

I loved Nishio poking at the Jump series where a character is near death, then magically comes back to life with more than enough power to defeat the person who was just kicking their butt. Saiyin's pretty much just did this for a while instead of actual training!

It seems like Medaka's team is kind of lacking, as far as important characters goes. I hope Oudo comes back to stand by her side.

Most of the 13th kids from the flask plan will probably join Medaka, atleast those that fought againts her.
